It's always darkest before the dawn...

"Devils! This freedom that has been won was paid in the blood of our Kindred. Yes, the essence of Gangrel, of Malkav & the others does flow through our veins, but we are not like you. Where were you when the Sabbat raped this fine city like slathering beasts? Where were your noble values, your distinguished leaders when the Kindred of this city needed you most? You chose to ignore us, choosing instead to fight for mere streets of an already forsaken New York! This city could have been your masterpiece, a shining model of Camarilla strength & determination. But you choose to abandon us. Then know this, Justicar: we choose to abandon you. We declare ourselves independent of your foolish games. Call us anarchs, it's merely a label. We call ourselves free."

Hannibal Barker, Gangrel of Philadelphia, addressing the Toreador Justicar, 1970

Philadelphia, the City of Brotherly Love. It's image is that of the birthplace of American independence. From these simple streets was forged a nation built on the notions of life, liberty & the pursuit of happiness. The great men & women who made this dream possible often sacrificed their own freedom so that others might be free. It is a city that has seen more than it's share of tragedy. The blood of Philadelphia's sons has been shed on battlefields the world over, so that others might know the dream made real in 1776. Wars have been fought to protect this freedom, whose price seems sometimes too much to bear. The blood of heroes formed a foundation from which the city's architects built the city as it now stands.

Behind the scenes await architects of another sort, those whose materials were the Founding Fathers & citizens themselves. Be they Kindred, Garou or any of the supernatural beings who have walked this city's streets, they are the true builders & masters of Philadelphia. Detailed here you will find the heroes, the traitors, the mighty as well as the weak. Lucien's city has room for all, as long it remains his city.
