Vocabulary
 
Clip art:
Electronic illustrations that can be inserted into a documents.bit-mapped graphics format
 
Bit map: A representation, consisting of rows and columns of dots, of a graphic image in computer memory. 
 
GIFF: Graphics Interchange Format, a bit-mapped graphics file format; however, because it is limited to 256 colors, it is more effective for scanned images such as illustrations rather than color photos.

JPG: Joint Photographic Experts Group, and pronounced jay-peg. JPEG is a comressed  file it can reduce the file sizes to about 5% of their normal size; however, some detail is lost in the compression.

PNG: Portable Network Graphics, and pronounced ping, a new graphic file similar to GIFF.

This tutorial will show you how to
