Seska

Masters of covert operations, Cardassians are everywhere! And from Star Trek Voyager comes ones of the greatest Cardassians ever, Seska.

Two years before the Voyager's ill fated trip to the Delta Quadrant, Seska, surgicaly altered to appear Bajoran, infiltrates Chakotay's Maquis group and became very close to the bands leader. She was even considered to be B'lana Torres' best freind then. But once the Voyager was lost, Seska's true Cardassian nature surfaced. She felt that in order to survive in the Delta Quadrant one should have powerful allies and that included the Kazon Nistrum. When she was caught secretly providing Federation technology to the Kazon and when the Doctor ultimately discovered her true idenity, she left Voyager to join the powerful Kazon.

The Kazon never stood a chance. Unfamiliar qwith Cardassian devious and treacherous ways, Seska soon allied herself with First Maje Culluh and actually began running things using the lure of her knowledge of Voyager and it's technology to her advantage in manipulating Culluh. She also had her Cardassian features surgically returned.

Seska died in a fitting Cardassian manner as she tried to reach her crying infant son. She had told Chakotay that the child was his but the Voyager's Doctor proved that it was actually Culluh's. Never the less, Chakotay's belief that the child was his left him vulnerable to Seska's expert manipulation.

Seska was played by versitile actor Martha Hackett who also portrayed the Romulan T'rul on Deep Space Nine's "The Search".
