A written or interactive program guide that is used by a consumer to find programs of interest.
Virtual Channel Map (VCM)
Data structures describing a service or a subset of services and reference numbers called virtual channel numbers.
VITC
Vertical Interval time Code. Time code that is recorded within the vertical blanking interval of the video signal. VITC uses a 90-bit word to assign a value to each frame of video.

Voltage Standing Wave Ratio. A measurement of mismatch in a cable, waveguide, or antenna system.
VSAT
Very small aperture terminal. Refers to small earth station antenna types, usually in the 1.2 to 2.4 meter range. Small aperture terminals under 0.5 meters are sometimes referred to Ultra Small Aperture Terminals (USAT's).
