Merry Meet and Merry Meet Again! Upon clicking here, your fingers are about to lead you down a sacred, and very old path. But be warned, merely because the path is old does not mean that the path lacks danger. Remember the Burning times?

Ok, so we started this a little melodramatic. Luckily society has civilized quite a bit since the 1800s. It's not a very common occurance any more to have a mob knock at your door, drag you out and perform all sorts of crazy tests to see if you were a witch- most of which left you very dead afterwards one way or another.

Luckily for us that follow the Craft of the Wise, pillaging, plundering, raping and murdering of our vital temples (mainly our homes, bodies, and children) by other religions has almost ceased to exist and the laws that are in place in the world try to protect everyone equally. That's not to say that the once- and twice- borns still don't try to convert every one on God/dess's green earth to their way of thinking. It does mean however that they can not make us choose between our beliefs and our lives.

The only tests we have to pass in these modern times are those passed on to us from our higher source and our spirit guides. Luckily, rather than leaving us dead, they are a mark of our progressions from one stage to the next. Always after we pass each test we are more enlightened, more in tune with the universal powers, stronger in spiritual strength, and most of all usually still very much alive.

What we have supplied online in our Book of Purity is simple. It is the basics that every practicing witch should know, whether working for the forces of light, darkness, or both. The other Books (Unicorn Meadows · Fairy Forest · Justice · Pixie Mtns. · Perseverance) have very useful information that may or may not be needed by the solitary practitioner.

The days of winning people over by scaring the bejeebus out of them is hopefully soon to come to an end. Until then, sit back, relax and be ready to learn something new.
