Tip 1: '66 Chevelle dash install

The dashboards on these cars are relativly simple to change as they come out as a complete unit wit the removal of a few screws around the perimeter of the unit.

Begin by removing the bolts that hold the steering column to the bottom of the dash, then let the column drop down and rest on the seat.

If your car has the engine harness connected, now would be a good time to remove it by unbolting it from inside the engine compartment, down on the lower right corner of the firewall, just underneath the brake master cylinder...
