Objectives

To give direct information
on ignation temperature, heat release, carbon burn-out characteristic and
gases from combustion of the tested coal as a function of time, excess
air and temperature of operation.
Aplication
:

To help solving the
problem of retrofitting old furnaces and boilers with more efficient fuels

To provide data of time/temperature
and chemical characterization of the combustion process which are very
useful in burner design.
