Lara
Croft sets off to discover the fate of Atlantis and uncover an ancient,
important mystery in Tomb Raider from Core Design and Eidos Interactive.
As the story begins, Lara has just returned from a hunting trip
in the Himalayas, and she's craving for a new challenge.
Conniving
business woman
Jacqueline Natla convinces Lara to recover a mysterious artifact
from a tomb in Peru, the
fabled Scion,
an incredible treasure reputed to give its possessor vast power.
But suprise suprise - Natla double-crosses her!
Lara
sets out to discover why, while exploring
Incan ruins, Ancient Rome, Egyptian Pyramids, ... and
uncovers a mystery that reaches back in time to the treachery that
destroyed
the Lost City of Atlantis.

Featuring
fully texture-mapped 3D graphics, an intelligent third-person camera,
an arsenal of big guns, and a legion of baddies to overcome. The
first official playable demo includes part of the cavernous second
level of the full version, while the newer demo picks up where the
first left off. Separate demos exist that take advantage of the
Rendition Verite and 3Dfx Voodoo graphics accelerator cards.
