Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation

Published by: Eidos Interactive
Developed by: CORE Design

Systems: PS2, PC
When:
Winter 1999

In order to save the future, she must face her past.

According to Egyptian legend, Horus, son of the light, outwitted the evil God Set and imprisoned him in a secret tomb.

Five thousand years later, adventurer Lara Croft discovers the lost tomb deep in the belly of the desert - but the seemingly harmless discovery, if it's deadly promise is fulfilled, could cost the entire earth as we know it. Unwittingly Lara may have unleashed the evil Egyptian god Set, fulfilling the ancient prophecy of his return to plunge mankind into darkness!

Last Revelation's plot revolves around ancient mythology and the alignment of the stars at the millennium. Lara's objective is clear - either she must avoid a terrifying destiny and re-imprison Set - or fail to stop the threat to humanity and save the world from certain Armageddon. Pursued at every turn by her arch-rival, the unscrupulous archaeologist Werner Von Croy, Lara embarks on a journey of discovery entirely set in Egypt, where she must overcome the most ingenious puzzles and infernal traps ever devised, and face terrifying evil from beyond the grave.

With more twists and turns than an Egyptian burial chamber, this is a Tomb Raider that truly offers...The Last Revelation.
