This is the storyline that records every important event happened in the world of 'Revolution', revolving around a few selected characters. Please read the storyline after every set of mission is completed so the plot of the story will be understandable. Thank you. Note: Rule 3- Accept and don't complain about any battle or mission written like that.

The competitors for the first round of the day had already made their way to the battle arena, and the sun wasn't even up yet. The RD members who had lost in the first round had returned to Vulture, preparing it for their sneak attack on SoF when he finally show up.

Rock was doing some stretching exercise while Rex was polishing his sword and Ashton staring aimlessly at his surroundings. The battle was about to start and their opponents seem to be ready. Because it was still early, not many people turned up to watch the fight except for Gareas and a few others who will be cheering for Rex and his team-mates. The announcer soon gave the command to begin the match and both teams clashed together.

"Is that one of SoF's teams....?" Nicole asked Kyo while she munched on some popcorns she bought along the way. ".....The team that is fighting against Rex now?"

"Yes. SoF team (3) to be exact." replied Kyo. "They must be strong to be able to make it to the quarter-finals and they are also under SoF so we shouldn't underestimate them. I just have to hope that Rex, Rock & Ashton will be able to beat them."

The leader of SoF team (3), a cute young girl by the name of 'Diamond' commanded her two team-mates, her two pet hawks to attack the weakest-looking of the three, Rock. Her first hawk, 'D1' easily slashed Rock with its sharp claws twice before ending the attack with a 'Cyclone' tech. As D1's attacks were too swift for Ashton or Rex to cover, Rock lost three 'Teardrop', leaving him with 532 HP more to survive the battle.

Diamond's other hawk, 'D2' was kind of slow so Diamond decided to attack first and chose the cute Ashton as her target. Diamond tried to hit him with her fists but Ashton easily evaded them. "Not bad!" Diamond smiled playfully at Ashton as she raised her arms, absorbing cold air into her palms. "But you are not going to escape my Freeze!" As soon as she finished talking, Diamond blasted a huge icicle of ice at him but Ashton unleashed his 'Max' skill; 'Sword Dance' at the same time, and both attacks clashed......

Because it is much more powerful, 'Sword Dance' broke through the 'Freeze' tech and Diamond had no other choice but to dodged Ashton's series of slashes which eventually ended up injuring the nearby D1. D2 soon caught up with the fight and managed to get near Rock, preparing to finish him off but was immediately stopped by Ashton who risked his life to save his comrade. Ashton wasted a teardrop due to D2's fury attacks but it was worth it as to prevent Rock from getting knocked out from battle. It was finally Rex's chance to attack and he delivered multiple slashes to D2 with his 'Max' skill; 'Shippuu' but it wasn't enough to defeat D2.

Meanwhile, the weaken Rock tried his best to bring down D1 but the hawk was too agile for him to handle but Rock's 'Meteor Strike' proved to be a bit too much for D1 to handle. As the falling meteors finally disappeared, D1 swooped down at Rock and finished him off. Ashton was too late to cover his friend but he was in trouble too as D1 picked Ashton off the ground before dropping him to the concrete ground......another of Ashton's 'Teardrop' wasted.

"I am going to leave you for the last so....." Diamond smiled innocently at Ashton as she raised her arms again to do her 'Freeze' tech, but this time at Rex. Rex was unable to dodge the ice attack and as he was hold prisoner by the ice, Diamond gave him a series of punches, reducing Rex's supply of 'Teardrop' by two! "Sorry Diamond, but I don't really like crazy hawks......" Ashton commented as he knocked D1 out with his two swords. ".....so please forgive me for my actions." 

"Ha ha! Well said, Ashton!" Rex laughed while he defeated the other hawk, D2 with a single attack. "Now it is two against one, and we will shall to win!" Rex pointed his shiny sword at the kneeling Diamond who was picking up one of her fallen hawks.

"I.....wouldn't.....forgive you....for what you had did to....my hawks!!!" Diamond cried in anger, staring at Rex with fuming eyes. "Rex, move away from her now!" Ashton warned Rex but Diamond was already next to the reptilian warrior, giving him a devastating punch that send him crashing into the walls surrounding the arena, suspending Rex from the battle. 

"Diamond, I....." Ashton said and Diamond stopped him from finishing his sentence. "I know what you are going to say already." Diamond replied. "I know you have fallen for me but I must still defeat you and advance to the semi-finals." 

"No, I just wanted to tell you that I am going to attack so be prepared." Ashton responded, causing Diamond to blushed furiously. "Consider yourself lucky for meeting a gentleman like me.....but I will not go easy on you just because you are a girl!" Ashton said and rushed towards Diamond, slashing the girl with his two swords. Ashton's first cut missed Diamond but his second slash hit her but all of the sudden, a barrier shaped like a diamond blocked the hit, and it shocked both Ashton and the spectators. Ashton backed off as Diamond hesitated when she tried to attack Ashton, maybe because she couldn't bear to hurt him but for the sake of SoF, Diamond raised her arms and froze Ashton till his HP dropped to 0, concluding the long battle.....

Ashton, Rex and Rock were carried back to Vulture to seek treatment and RD team (B) consisting of Joseph, Takamura and Rydia stepped into the arena, preparing for their fight against their next opponent, 'Mech Squad'. "Hey Joseph!" Conoly shouted. "Don't dare to lose cause I want to fight you soon!"

"This battle will be a breeze so just sit back and relax while me and my team will show you how to wreck robots!" Joseph grinned as he showed a thumbs-up to Conoly and the rest of the RD members. The Mech Squad was nowhere insight but the announcer just started the battle anyway. "What the heck? There are no enemies!" Rydia scorned at the announcer. Joseph seem to spotted something and without warning, he sprang into mid-air and used 'Double Cut' tech. "What is he doing.....?!" Tai said as he looked up in the sky and to his amaze he saw Joseph slashing a shadowy figure.

Soon, Joseph returned to the ground, with three robots landed down too. No one expected that Mech Squad would try to sneak up on the RD team from above but their plan was foiled by Joseph and one of their members; 'Griper' was reduced to 100 HP after suffering from Joseph's lightning attack. Being the most reckless among the three, Griper charged at Joseph with its grappling hook on one hand and successfully hit him but Joseph activated 'Nullification' tech and the hook just rebounded back to Griper, killing itself instead. Glitch and Golem didn't care much about their fallen team-mate, and continued the fight like nothing ever happened. Sensing strong danger from its internal radar, Glitch revealed a mini-cannon hidden behind its metallic chest, and fired a shot at Joseph but was eventually nullified by his 'Nullification' tech. 

It was soon Rydia's turn and she tried to destroy the Mech Squad leader; Glitch for good but Golem automatically rushed in and covered her attack instead. "Stupid robot!" Rydia sneered as her lance damaged the bulky machine. As Rydia moved away from Golem after attacking, the robot blindly charged at Takamura but the lad easily dodged its rampage and cast 'Tidal Splash' on Glitch, short-circuiting the leader. 

With only Golem left in the battlefield, Joseph positioned himself, his katana on his right and in seconds he swung his katana and slashed Golem into two, which was followed by a small explosion. An incredible fight, Joseph, Takamura and Rydia weren't even hurt in the battle.......Team RD (B) wins!

Round 2.3 was over very soon, SoF team (1) being the winner of that round. The final round for the second day on the island of Lost Ruins had finally arrived and the two participating teams briskly made their way to the centre of the arena. "Here is what everyone is waiting for today!" The announcer excitedly raised his voice through the microphone. "RD team (A) versus RD team (D)!!!"

Gareas and Kyo were deep-in thoughts while Eijay was staring at Nicole who was adjusting her retractable claws. "The day has finally arrive......Tai...." Conoly glared at Tai, "....The day where we will fight against each other." Tai nodded his head in agreement. "We have been good friends but don't let our friendship get in our way in this battle." Conoly continued. "I want this battle to be a fair one......"

As the teams warmed up, a tall man and a lady with glasses were observing both teams from one of the corner of the spectator stands. "What do you think about the two groups, Miss Pearl?" The man asked the lady. "My Jewel tells me that all of team (D) members have very high strength while team (A) is supported by a great variety of techs but....." Pearl stopped for a moment before continuing. ".....the guy called Conoly in team (A) seem to be pulling the team down....."

The announcer soon started counting down and Gareas's heart was pounding faster than before. "And the battle commences!" 

As usual, Eijay took the lead and tried firing his sub-machine gun at Nicole but Conoly covered her, taking the damage instead. "That Conoly....do he know his limits?" Pearl commented. Although seriously weaken, Conoly managed to combine the techs 'Chain' with 'Counter' to counter Eijay twice with his swift shuriken. Eijay had to use a 'Teardrop' to keep himself conscious and his attack wasn't over yet. Without warning, he leaped towards Conoly, spraying rounds of ammunition at Conoly that took one of his 'Teardrop' away too.

During Eijay's firing, Gareas was exchanging blows with Tai, and Gareas couldn't get a clear shot at his target but his 'Meteor Strike' tech managed to deduct some of Tai's HP. Tai's condition was still stable and was able to successfully perform his 'Max' skill; 'Artic Breeze' on his opponents, but Conoly was the unlucky one who Tai chose to hit. "I will not let you knock one of my partners out!" A charging Nicole shouted, jabbed Tai twice with her claws, and ending her attack with two 'Tidal Splash', which drained all of Tai's supplies of 'Teardrop'!

After Tai ignored him, Gareas was challenged by Kyo and both were almost equally good but Kyo had a slight advantage and got to injured Gareas during their sparring. Meanwhile, Conoly confronted Tai and defeated him, removing Tai from the battle. "Tai......" 

RD team (D) was reduced to two members and the odds seem to be against them. Eijay knew that it would be better for him to take on both Nicole and Conoly while he let Kyo handle Gareas but he decided that he himself will be able to win the whole team and attacked Gareas. Gareas roughly knew what Eijay was planning to do and easily evaded the first line of fire but Eijay suddenly changed his tactics, enabling him to hurt Gareas. 

With his tension gauge reaching its limits, Gareas unleashed his 'Max' skill; 'Shadow Tenken' at Kyo, and with meteors showering him, Kyo used up all of his 'Teardrop' to survive the onslaught. With wits of a night panther, Nicole easily defeated both Eijay and Kyo, ending the final round of the day...... 

"So.....what do you think about RD team (A) now?" The tall man asked Pearl again.

 "They are interesting.....especially that girl, Nicole. And as for Conoly.......he might be the team's trump card in near future....." Pearl adjusted her glasses and smiled. "May we meet in the battlefield soon......RD!"

It has been days since the RD party stepped into the island of Lost Ruins and only Gareas, Conoly, Nicole and Joseph, Takamura, Rydia made it into the semi-finals which would take place today. The other members who lost the previous battles in the tourney were sitting around the Vulture, waiting for the guys in the tourney to return before carrying out their plan to destroy the ritual ceremony to resurrect the Unknown Force.

And while all the RD members were killing time before the next tourney match starts, Gyo and Tomaru were discussing with Kyo about something very important. "Kyo, are you sure we should go without the rest," Gyo asked. "and destroy the ritual on our own?" Kyo paused for awhile before nodding his head.

"I suspect that SoF organised the tourney just to lure everyone away from his true plans; to carry out the ritual ceremony secretly." Kyo explained. "It should be hard to get to the ritual location and we might not be able to return so I need the rest of the members to stay behind just in case anything happen to us." Kyo continued.

"Then why don't we tell the rest about it since you want them to stay behind?" said Tomaru. "The rest, especially Gareas will not let us go by ourselves so we just need one person to stay and if a day had past since our departure, he will then tell the rest about it." Kyo replied. "But the problem is I still don't know who to entrust this duty to...."

All of the sudden, Hiead, Tobira and Jusuchi popped out of nowhere, surprising the trio in their conversation. "Sorry, but we overheard your conversation." Hiead said. "The three of you wouldn't stand a chance against SoF lackeys so I will help you guys out." Jusuchi added. "Count me in too." Hiead smiled.

"I will stay and tell everyone if you all don't return by tomorrow." Tobira responded, wishing the five good luck. "If that's the case, we can now carry out our operation." Kyo said. "Let's get moving."

With that, the five left and headed to the place where the ritual is rumoured to be.

Because the island of Lost Ruins wasn't very huge, Kyo and the group managed to reach the abandoned temple that houses the ritual within 30 minutes. The five stood outside the old, gloomy and sinister-looking temple and the entrance to it seem to be sealed off. 

"I don't think the ritual is in this temple....." Jusuchi commented. Suddenly Kyo raised his fist and plunged it into the temple's walls, creating a opening big enough for everyone to enter. "Well, we will never know if it is here unless we check it out." 

The group stepped into the dark temple and Hiead used the lighter he brought along to light up the place, revealing a labyrinth ahead of them. After an hour of wandering around, the five found themselves lost. Luckily for them, Tomaru was able to trace the route back to the entrance but on their way, the endless passage started to crack and water from a nearby underground waterway gushed in, flooding the area the group were in.

"If this continues, we will be drown soon!" Gyo warned the rest. The group tried to make their way to the opening but water was flooding the passage fast and to make matters worst, Crabby-like monsters fitted with metal coating were heading towards them! Although the water make it hard to fight, the group is still capable of battling and a fight commences.....

Tomaru was seriously injured after the battle and the water level was rising rapidly. The group were getting agitated but Kyo stayed calm and he tried to break the walls of the passage with his 'Max' skill; 'Sky Dragon Strike' but the water around him prevented him from using his full strength and was unable to crack the walls.

"Arrrghh!!!" Kyo growled as he continued to bang the walls with his fists but a crack was not even visible after countless attempts of hitting. Trying to withstand the rushing water too, Kyo's energy was draining away and he decided to try one last attempt to break through the passage walls. With his remaining strength, Kyo slammed his fist on the wall, but nothing seem to happen. 

All of the sudden, Kyo felt a surge of energy rushing into his fists. "The power......" He said in astonishment. "This is it,,,,,Dark Dragon Wave!" Kyo slammed his fist once more on the wall, creating a shockwave that started cracking the whole wall. Beneath the crack emerged a magnificent dark dragon which started absorbing energies from the surrounding, creating an energy ball huge enough to destroy the entire wall that had trapped the group.....

Pearl and the mysterious tall man were carefully observing that teams for the first round of the semi-finals; Gareas, Conoly & Nicole against Joseph, Takamura & Rydia.

"Joseph, Takamura and Rydia from RD team (B) all have the same level of evading skills......" Pearl noted. "I believe the winners will be....." Just before Pearl could finish, she stopped and her eyes were wide open with shock. "Jasper, the temple is under attack! I can sense it with my jewel." The tall man grinned at Pearl as he wore his black hat. "Don't worry about a thing. I will go and check it out myself." Before Pearl could stopped him, the man disappeared without a trace. "He is going to create a mess again....." Pearl sighed as she turned back to watch the opening of the battle.

"It is a pity this isn't the finals...." Joseph said to Gareas. "Because my team will give you guys a good fight!" Gareas nodded in agreement. "We will do our best too!"

Both teams were ready and without much hesitation, the announcer gave the signal to begin and the six RD members started showing off their moves. Within the hundreds of spectators were a group of supporters supporting the cute Nicole as she rushed towards Joseph, throwing series of punches at him but Joseph easily dodged them all. "What?!" Nicole cried as she noticed all her attacks missed, and her 'Tidal Splash' was nullified by Joseph's 'Nullification'. "Take your attacks back!" Joseph shouted and swung his katana twice but Nicole easily evaded the slashes. 

Meanwhile on the other side of the arena, Gareas was firing precious bullets with his revolver at Rydia but he kept missing her. Same thing happened to Conoly as he flung a whole set of shuriken and the tech 'Fire Tip' at Joseph but not one hit the target. "Sorry, but fun's over." Rydia said and plunged her lance into an unguarded Conoly and Takamura blasted Gareas with his techs.

Nicole was sweating profusely as she tried to give Joseph a jab or two with her retractable claw but Joseph kept evading every single attack she threw at him. "Takamura, Rydia!" Joseph shouted. "Take down Gareas first and we will have an easy time after that!" As soon as he finished, Joseph leaped into the air, performing his 'katana air strike' on Gareas, giving him a total of 5,420 damage!

"Damn!" Gareas groaned as he backed away from Joseph. "If it carries on like this, we are bound to lose for shall!"

"No choice left....got to risk it, or lose!" Gareas mumbled to himself as he reload the last round of his ammo into his revolver. "Let me finish you off in a single blow! Shadow Tekken!" Gareas roared as he unleashed his 'Max' skill; 'Shadow Tekken' onto Rydia. "It is impossible to defeat me with this kind of attack." Rydia replied as she used 'Nullification', nullifying Gareas's 'Max' skill!

The crowd went wild and Gareas was stunned by what had happened and Rydia was about to attack him when Conoly stopped her with his shuriken. "Gareas, stop day-dreaming!" Conoly shouted. "Conoly, you are getting in my way!" Rydia yelled and knocked Conoly out of battle. Gareas soon snapped back to his senses but it was already too late as Joseph and Takamura were aiming their attacks on him. "This is not the end.....!" Gareas grinned and miraculously he evaded all their attacks....a total of five in a row. 

As usual, Nicole wanted to defeat Joseph but this time Rydia covered Joseph, taking and nullifying all her attacks. "Thanks a lot!" Joseph thanked Rydia as he chased after the weakened Gareas. "Gareas! Try to evade my slashes if you can!" Joseph challenged Gareas and within a split second, Joseph slashed Gareas twice on the chest, giving no time at all for Gareas to react. 

Gareas dropped to the ground, wasting a 'Teardrop' for him to get up. Struggling to stand and aim properly, he fired at Joseph but it barely hit him. "The last ammo....." Gareas muttered as he get ready to pull the trigger for the last time in this battle. "Lock on.....fire!" The bullet swished past Nicole and Takamura before it managed to hit and injure Joseph. "Time for me to use my bare hands to fight." Gareas said, throwing the revolver on the ground.

Seeing that Gareas do not pose any more threat since he is without his revolver, Rydia & Takamura took on the helpless Nicole, reducing her HP to barely 1,800. After receiving injuries, Nicole unleashed her 'Max' skill; 'Cross Slash' but just before she could even proceed in delivering the first move, Takamura nullified the skill with ease. Caught unaware, Joseph sneaked up on Nicole from the back, and stab her, thus Joseph's simple 'Max' skill was finally performed for the first time.

"The battle results have been already decided." Pearl muttered and stood up from her seat, ready to leave the arena. "It will be a waste of time if I continue to watch this pathetic fight." 

RD team (A); Nicole and Gareas were down to only one 'Teardrop' each while RD team (B) were still in good shape. 

"Nicole...." Gareas looked at the panting girl. "....get ready to launch an assault when I am down...." Nicole was confused by his words although she still promised Gareas. Gareas stared at Joseph with a pair of cold eyes, before charging at him, with his fists aiming for Joseph. Gareas's blows missed and Joseph tried to counterattack but Gareas somersaulted to safety. As Joseph was busy with Gareas, Rydia attempted to defeat Nicole with her lance unfortunately Gareas appeared from nowhere and blocked the attack for her. 

"...Keep your promise....Nicole...!" Gareas said before collapsing in front of Nicole. "Don't worry...I know what to do." Nicole tore a part of her sleeve to bandage her forehead. "Let's finish this!!!" Nicole yelled as she sent her retractable claw flying towards Takamura who in turn summoned meteors, and when both attacks clashed together, a huge explosion occurred.

As the smoke and dust cleared caused by the explosion, Takamura, Rydia and Joseph were fine while on the other hand, Nicole was barely standing but was yet to perform the final attack that she promised Gareas. "Gareas....I hope you are watching this......Cross Slash!" All of the sudden, Nicole just appeared next to the alarmed Takamura and unleashed her 'Max' skill; 'Cross Slash' right next to him, which broke through Takamura's 'Barrier' and dealt him 5,125 damage!

"I kept my promise......!" Nicole smiled, glaring at the misty clouds in the sky before being finished off by Joseph's accurate blow. The longest battle in tourney history, and RD team (B) triumphed!

A day had passed since Kyo, Gyo, Tomaru, Jusuchi and Hiead went missing from the main RD group. Tobira told the rest what happened and David, Yuu, Ashton, Rex, Rock, Mel, Keiji, Tai & Eijay came together to discuss about the situation before taking any action.

At the same time, with the help of Kyo's Level 2 'Max' skill; 'Dark Dragon Wave', Jusuchi, Hiead, Tomaru and Gyo managed to escape in time before being drown. Tomaru was in bad shape after the fight against the 'Armoured Crabby' and the rest were exhausted. As the five of them move away from the destroyed temple, Kyo sensed someone watching them. He then took a deep breath before calling out, "Quit sneaking around and show yourself!"

A tall figure walked out of a huge nearby bush, and with him was a weird-looking staff. "You got sharp senses since you can spot me." 

"Who the hell are you?!" Jusuchi said. "And what's with that crappy weapon you are holding?" Jusuchi was referring to the staff the man held. "Oh...." The man gave one glance at the staff he was gripping. "Ya, I admit it is a strange staff but it is kind of attach to me." He replied which spooked the gang of five. "I am Jasper, SoF's grand jester and it is my duty to eliminate anyone who is or seem to be stepping on SoF restricted areas."

"And by the way," Jasper added. "you are currently in a restricted area......so do you know what it means?"

"It means that we are dead-meat?" Hiead queried and Jasper raised his staff, pointing at Hiead and the others. "Correct, and the reward for you guys......is to let you witness the performance I am going to show you!"
