YOUTH SPORTS

Youth Sports is a program that can help our Youths of the Future. It also give us one more
opportunity to show how our Grande Voiture and Voiture Locale are an asset to the community. This porgram is for athletes
ages 7 thru 20, in all amateur sports programs: to promote sportsmanship and citizenship.
The Youth Sports Program carries out its mission by:
1. Encouraging Youths in healthy competion and togetherness.
2. Helping other sports organization with their amateur
athletes.
3. Recognizing young athletes for leadership, high
moral character, and sportsmanship.
Every Grande Voiture, and Voiture Locale is encouraged to participate in this Program by:
1. Selling ourselves to our communities by helping our youths.
2. Getting our Grands to support our Youth Sports Fund to raise $5,000.00.
Voitures are encourged to get involved at the local level. They can assist by helping a
team or individual. They determine the amount of local money used to support the young athletes in their area, the level
of need for each athlete and react accordingly, making either small or large contribution.
Remember the Motto of the Nationale Youth Sports Committee:
"NO ATHLETE SHALL STAY HOME FOR LACK OF FUNDS"
Your National Youth Sports Committee has funds available tohelp assist the youth athletes in
your area. Your Voiture can be reimbused up to $100.00 for your participation. You select the athlete or athletes
you wish to help, making your contribution to the National Directeur of Youth Sports (Example: You donate $200.00 to
a local athlete. You are eligible for $100.00 from the Youth Sports Program.) The form require the signature of
the Voiture Locale Directeur, and Grand Directeur, and the National Directeur. It is important you provide proof of
your contribution. All payments will be made to the Voiture Locale.
Consideration will be given to those Voitures that are involved with a special
event that may require funds in excess of $500.00.
