Dee Jay is a young kickboxer, known as the "Southern Comet." This cheerful fighter quickly rose to become a world champion. In high spirits, he now searches the world for a good fight.

History

If ever there was a jammin' fighter, Dee Jay is that man. He has literally trained himself in Jamaican kickboxing by following the rhythm of his music. He composes new songs while beating his opponents to a pulp. And all with a huge smile on his face. Why? Because to him, the fight is about the rhythm and the beat, not who gets beaten.

Dee Jay has reached his limits with local Jamaican fighters, and now wants to create his greatest masterpiece yet by entering the Street Fighter tournament. He knows that if he wins, he'll have in his soul the sweetest melody in the world. It didn't take much convincing to get his promoters to foot his bill to enter the tournament.

Dee Jay is an awkward fighter, but his attacks are deadly, disguised as dance techniques that usually end in a foot to the gut. He also learns fast, and if he sees a technique he thinks he can use he'll do his best to ad-lib it. So far, he's been able to dance to the tune of Guile's Sonic Boom and Chun-Li's spinning kick. He can't seem to get the beat of that melodious dragon punch though, but his rising juggler attack isn't too shabby.
