History

The arrogant pupil of Sagat was first seen in Street Fighter, then resurfaced in the Street Fighter Alpha series. His techniques are centred around the speed and grace of the jaguar in motion. Adon's agility and style have a hypnotic effect on his opponents, leaving them defenceless against his charge. Adon is a powerful selectable character in Street Fighter Alpha, but he is most deadly in Street Fighter Alpha 2. Though he could not be selected in the original Street Fighter game, he was easily among the two most difficult fighters in the game to defeat, and in some ways was more capable of limiting your access to the game's ending than Sagat himself.

In this newest version, his jaguar kick has been simplified and can be executed far more fluidly than before. He is most effective against jumping and projectile fighters, as his own leaping attacks have high priority. His super attacks are nearly worthless, so stick to the basics if you want to win, and save the flashy stuff for scrubs.

His ego is as large as his kicks are powerful. Even though he himself lost to Ryu in battle, Adon believes that Sagat has disgraced the art of Muay Thai fighting by losing to a "runt" like Ryu. He was the second-to-last contender of the original Street Fighter, but now he wishes to supplant Sagat as Muay Thai master. He was last seen preparing to enter a battle with the mighty Gouki and hasn't been heard from since.
