Awards Committee
Chair: Judy Daniel, President
The Chapter gives awards bi-annually to outstanding projects, people, and organizations for exemplary achievement in the planning field. The Committee will organize and coordinate the awards program including determining award categories and nomination criteria, reviewing applications for the Chapter awards; determining recipients of awards to Chapter members who have made outstanding contributions, eliciting applications for APA awards; and eliciting nominations for Fellows of AICP. The Committee will coordinate with the Communications Committee for publicity efforts.
Up to five Committee members with organizational ability are needed. The committee will meet monthly or more as needed in the first six months of 2005 to prepare for the 2005 Awards Program, to be held in June 2005.
