Communications Committee

Work with the Vice President for Communications to improve how the Chapter interacts with its membership. Currently, the committee is responsible for publishing the bi-monthly newsletter Capitol News, collecting and distributing job and event announcements on the chapter email listserve and keeping the website current and up to date. The enlarged committee will be responsible for guiding these tasks, distributing the work amongst committee members and striving to improve and build upon these existing products. The Committee is seeking three to five individuals interested in advancing goals including: forming a public relations strategy for the Chapter, creating a Chapter brochure, moving the newsletter to an opt-in e-delivery, and adding new functionality to the website. This Committee will meet on an as-needed basis and will ideally perform most of its duties via email.
