The second season was about really pushing the 13th Doctor physically and emotionally. Setting up challenges that
set her up for heartsache and misery. The loss of David has a big impact on her and something of her carefree nature
is destroyed, making her more protective of her friends. Also giving her a romance and possible husband really highlights
the way that she has accepted her gender and indeed welcomes any experience that helps her further explore her femininity.
Having said that she's becoming even more aggressive and physical in response to the dangers she encounters with each new
adventure.
Another aspect of the season was writing fewer stories but writing longer ones, even though the season seems half as
long as the first one the word count is in fact a third longer!!!
