Powers: Basic gravity manipulation,
Super-Strength, a webbing gun, web-slinger which
is a giant catapult that can fling him anywhere
in New York due to it's sentient computer base
called Computo.
Origin: When the DC and
Marvel Universes combined to form the Amalgam
Universe, Spider-Boy was created.
He was an amalgamation of the
Marvel Universe's Spider-man and the DC Universe's
Superboy. The combined universe was all that existed
and had a complete past and future and Spider-Boy
was this universe's greatest hero. In it's past
General "Thunderbolt" Ross, the last
surviving witness of the Super Soldier experiment
(An experiment that created the perfect soldier,
and an amalgamation of Superman and Captain America)
and ordered Cadmus to recreate another Super Soldier.
They created a clone that had
the genetic ability to manipulate gravity, in
fact the clone could change the focus of his personal
gravity and cling to walls, along with a certain
amount of super-strength. Due to a disruption
in the experiment, the clone was only grown to
to the age of a boy. The General thought that
the disruption was all his fault, so he adopted
the boy and took on the name of Pete Ross. When
his Uncle Gen, as he called the general, was killed
because the burglar thought a grown man would
give him more trouble than a teen, Pete made sure
he would never just be a kid that got ignored
while others got hurt.
He made the now legendary costume,
got famous and realized that Uncle Gen was right,
with great power comes great responsibility...
and way too much fun! Spider-Boy also has a matter-transformer
that changes him from the dark haired Spider-Boy,
agent of Cadmus to the tow headed spectacled Pete
Ross, photographer for the Daily Planet. Spider-Boy
is engaged to marry Insect Queen in the very near
future.
