Looking for answers to family problems, financial difficulties, or physical challenges? Visit our Reading Room. You are always welcome. For more than 100 years, our Reading Room has been an active member of the Nashua, NH community, helping people find spiritual solutions to these questions.

Our Reading Room is a bookstore, a library, a quiet haven for peaceful study or reflection. It is a place to ask questions and discover your relationship to God.

You can read, borrow, or purchase copies of the King James Version of the Bible, Bible Commentaries, writings by Mary Baker Eddy, children's books, and other Christian Science literature such as our weekly publication, The Christian Science Sentinel, or our monthly periodical, The Christian Science Journal.

If you want to come in just to get out of the cold, catch up with national and world events by reading The Christian Science Monitor, a Pulitzer Prize winning daily international newspaper.

Many in today's society are searching for healing and have found help through the power of prayer. Read the testimonies in the various Christian Science periodicals to see how others have found answers.

If you don't know quite where to start, visit our Reading Room. Its supportive and loving environment will guide you to God. The weekly Bible Lesson is marked in books placed in comfortable study carrels.

It used to be common in big cities like Boston and New York for book publishers to maintain reading rooms where the public could sample their books before buying. It was in that environment in the late 1890's that Mary Baker Eddy had her publishing house institute the Christian Science Reading Room.
