7:30pm to 9:30pm Thursday, 3 August 2000 Art Gallery of WA: Conductor's Choice. The Friends of the Art Gallery of Western Australia you to attend an evening with internationally acclaimed conductor Christopher Hogwood, who is in Perth to conduct the WASO's Great Classic Concert series (see elsewhere in Hovea Music Events). Hogwood will discuss his favourite works from the State Art Collection intertwined with anecdotes from his distinguished career as a musician and conductor. An ensemble drawn from the WEST AUSTRALIAN SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA will provice entertainment and guests will enjoy champagne and hors d'oeuvres in the Gallery's concourse.Tickets $25 to $30.
