Because it takes time to develop the bonds of perfect love and perfect trust that should exist between coven members, Silver Web Coven is broken down into several levels or degrees of membership. These are:

Cowan
Postulant
Dedicant
Initiate
First Degree
Second Degree
Third Degree
The Synod (Officers)

This structure is not intended to hold anyone back or make anyone feel alienated. Rather, these levels are to give newcomers time to figure out if we are right for them, and for us to figure out if they are right for Silver Web Coven.
