The MK-19 40 mm grenade launching machine gun is operated in a blow back, fully automatic fashion. It has a maximum range of 2200 meters, but effective at 1600 meters. It is belt fed and requires two men to use it. One to actually aim and fire the weapon and the second, feeds the linked grenades in to the gun. At 72.5 pounds, this is a very heavy and bulky item to be carried into combat, it would probably be used in defensive, rather than offensive actions. |

Fragment grenades, on the average, weigh 1 pound, have a 3 to 5 second fuse delay, and have an effective radius of 30 yards. The M-26A1 is the standard grenade used by the armed forces. They are used to kill multiple enemy soldiers within throwing range. They may also be used to destroy or disable light vehicles. |

They come in a variety of colors, but the most common colors are green and blue. They are used for marking landing zones, making distress signals, masking advancing troops, and so forth. |

Thermite grenades may burn up to 5,000 degrees and will destroy any equipment it is placed on, as well as any flammable material. The AN M14 TH3 thermite grenade can burn through half an inch of steel, it will even burn under water, and will burn for 40 seconds.
