Carol and Gail and their Costumes, Volume 1

Salmon and Trout

Professional fish heads at play in the 1999 Ski for Women, a benefit for AWAIC.

The theme: Prom Night

Fish face 300 pixels

We made prom gowns for our fish. Carol's fish went for exuberant poofiness, Gail's preferred the slinky look. Careful, Carol, your lips will get stuck if you're not careful! We won the costume contest - but they haven't had a costume contest since then. I think they don't want to encourage us.

Carol leads the migration

Gail's glasses frosted up but she could see a large red and silver beacon ahead - the prom dress.

Frosty face a 20 below zero F

Faces get frosty at 20 below zero F. Those are fish lips, not lipstick smears!
