Opening presents
My oldest daughter, Cathy, holds up a cozy nightshirt that will keep her warm this winter.
Here is my pride and joy! Alexandra, my (then) 7½-year-old great-granddaughter, is hugging her daddy after he put
the scarf around his neck that she proudly knitted for him. It was her very first project, with much help from her Aunt
Cathy.
"Beatle-mania" has entered Alexandra's young life, and she got several of their CDs to start her collection. Here
she holds up her 2001 Beatle calendar Grandma Marjy (right) gave her.
"YIKES!" says Keiko, the cat. "Was that a strange dog invading my private domain? Well, I guess I'm safe up here on top
of the microwave, so long as I don't get 'nuked'!" YEOWWWW!
