Hi All - this page is simply a page to hold all the wonderful information we collected on the HOME Page for the past few reunions.  Rather than simply Delete the information from the Home Page, I decided to keep it as Historical Reference.  Enjoy

=======================================================
January 31, 2008

-  Martie checked in to let us know that the Class of 1968 is having their 40th reunion Sept. 20,2008 at Tatnuck CC on Pleasant Street in Worcester.  Classmates wishing to contact Martie can do so at Martha Abeles-Young    92 June Street Worcester, MA 01602
Work (508) 831-1143  Cell (508) 831-8346     Home (978) 464-5987

=====================================================

May '06 - heard from Nancy Nuzzolilo who regrets to inform us that Donna Bray has also passed away.

April 8, '06 -  Don't know what is going on with the class members lately but it would be good to hear something positive.  We recently lost Earl Prince and Walter (chip) Karcheski (see memoriam pages).  Chip also has some information on the indepth pages as well.

Additional Class News;

Zinky checked in and confirmed that this was he: "I noticed in the Worcester Telegram & Gazette the other day that there was an altercation and the article went on to say, "according to Lt. Richard Krasinska.....".  I wonder if anyone on the force would call him Zinky.  Yes, that is our very own 1969 graduate who is now a Lt. on the worcester force. "

Also, Scott Ravelson checked in and signed the guest book below!

===================================================
10/16/04 - IT's NEVER too LATE!    But let Raff explain, in his own words;

 "googled" myself and came across a short 'bio" of Dave Weintraub who just happened to be a teammate of mine on the Doherty High baseball team that went to the quarterfinals  of the state playoffs in the year 1969.  Dave and his cousin...?... Ross were also personal friends.  As well as being teammates, we often "chilled" together with Charlie Horan, Richard Silkman, and Ollie Wilson, watching Bruins games, and hanging out at the Tatnuck Square Friendly's.  Dave and Ross were, and probably still are, solid to the core, quiet and strong, humorous and focused, goofy yet balanced.

As much as Charlie Horan, Rich Silkman, Ollie Wilson and myself gathered most of the "spotlight" on the baseball field that year, it was truly guys like Ross and Dave Weintraub that deserved the credit for
the success that we all shared that senior year.  They provided all the intangibles needed for success in any endeavor....not just baseball!!  After all these years, I finally get the chance to thank these two characters and express at age 53 what I couldn't at age 18!! It just wasn't cool then !!!  Sincerely,   Raff Yagjian

 - 04/03/05 - Check out the where are they now page as another MIA has been found.

- - 05/23/04 - Wow, you will never guess which long time MIA was just found!  Thanks Marie... she is one of the nicest kids I knew... A Penny for your thoughts or check out the where are they now!

- 5/22/04 - Hello....I just happened across your Class of 1969 website and am loving it! I was 1968 and I sure do wish we had a website!

If you wouldn't mind I'd appreciate it if you could scan and email me a copy of the 1969 Hockey Team. You may not know but we won the championship in 68 as well. Not too shabby....two years in a row!!   Thanks  Bob Miller Spring, Tx

Also, Heard from a member of the Class of '67.  They tried to put together a 35th reunion but evidently, not enough to help out.   Regrets...

-- 02/17/04 - FOUND Again; BARBARA Dworkin PLACE thanks Maria.  Seems Maria Leone & Amy Bibace had a small reunion in worcester in the summer of '03.  Sounds like you all had fun.

Also, Jim Fezz Fesseden, checked in to say Hello!

-- 06/15/03 - Received an email on a classmate that has departed us.  It was our good fortune to know Nancy (see memorial page) and we wish her safe journey.  Nancy passed away in December of '02 and we are just now becoming aware of this information.

-- 04/05/03 - Received an Email from Annie and as she was walking through the grocery market she bumped into an East Side Kid that had not been seen in awhile.  I wonder who it was?  Check out the Bulletin Board Page on Bernice.

-- 03/13/03 - Heard from Ruth Cutler recently.  Ruthie is in Israel in a town called Haifa.  Hopefully, she and her husband remain safe as there has been alot of unrest there and suicide bombers.  For us here in the States it is difficult to imagine that you put your kids on a bus and don't know whether you will ever see them again.  Stay safe Ruthie.

-- 03/13/03 - Charlie Horan checked in with a new email; see the email page.

-- 03/13/03 - Lori Solowoy stopped by to say hello as well.

--11/4/02 - Barbara Dworkin passed this along:   I really want to thank you for helping me reconnect with old friends.  I just finished chatting on e-mail with Amy Bibace, my best friend in grammar school.  And I got to chat with Mr. Rawling still can't call him Don

-- 10/31/02 - An Alumni who did not know she was missing contacted us. Wonder who it was?  Check out the bulletin board page!

-- 9/10/02 - Received and confirmed a tip on a long lost classmate.  Clank is no longer lost.  Check the class bulletin board and find out who

-- 8/19/02 - Received an Email from an "old" grafton hiller who is also a long time MIA.  Check the class bulletin board and find out who.

-- 8/14/02 - Down in the short blurbs we mentioned our budding actor classmate, Dan "the tree" Robbins.  Well here is the write-up from one of the Maine Reviews.  "Jelly Moonshine "shines" is a successful production that is locally written and produced play; As showtime neared, the people kept streaming in, and it was soon standing room only in the theater. What followed was an outstanding performance of Decker's work, in which she starred as the psychologically-scarred "Mercy", one of three sisters in an old-fashioned, Southern, bootlegging family. Decker's performance was outstanding, and demonstrated great development of her character. The casting was fabulous, including a wonderful performance by Dan Robbins as the meteorologically-obsessed "Mr. Boo". "   [ed note:  Dan, meteorologically obsessed??]

-- 7/23/02 - Controversy comes to the board in a fun way!.  The objective now is whether or not Jeff Blaustein has to eat his sister's beanie even if it is in small bites.  According to Jeff:  have a minor correction for you.... actually it's major: "Thoughts to consider: Mr Allard; obi oh obi est meus sub obi ; along with that tidbit of information that he told us never to forget - His math class was also like a history lesson as illustrated below; [ed note:  see the hodgepodge page left column bottom]"

I don't know where this came from , but the "obi oh obi" quote was really Mr. (Dan) Butler, our Latin teacher who actually came to our 25th reunion. He gave us: "If you're being chased, run into the roundhouse; they'll never catch you there." and "ubi oh ubi est meus sub ubi" Translation: where or where is my under wear. If it was Mr. Allard, I'll eat my sister's Classical High School beanie.  Keep up the good work, Jeff

--  6/02/02  Check out the where they are now page;  David Sherr is doing something pretty interesting.

-- Paula Harrington wanted to pass along that after all these years she is finally busted! (see picture below).  She also wanted everyone to know that she is in the middle.

-- There were some monies left over from the 32nd reunion. A $100.00 donation was sent on behalf of the class to the Abby House in Worcester. It is a great place and provides a wonderful service to the community.
========================================================

-- 09/10/02 - Kevin Clancey is now found.  Been a Postmaster for 20 years and he was lost... go figure.

-- 08/19/02 - George Stecko found us!  Outstanding.  George tells us he is retiring after 25 years in law enforcement and says hello to everyone.

Some recent kudos from some of our classmates;

From Betsy Binder:  just wanted to tell you thanks for the web site, i graduated in 70, but a lot of my friends were in 69 and got in touch with many of them from the web site.  Terri, Aimee, Candy and Maria used to hang out. Linda Cohan too who I just saw when I was in Worcester so......thanks again.

From Paula Harrington:  Just finished checking out the site and I see that everything is back up and running. Again, that was so funny to scroll down and see myself in that picture. Here in the Merced River Canyon, west entrance to Yosemite National Park, Ca. the weather is warming, wildflowers blooming and tourists getting ready to invade the area.  Been playing with stained-glass for 25 years.

First, let me thank you again for the fantastic website. Someone from the Class of 1971 who was planning their reunion spotted my email address on it and emailed me looking for my brother Paul. Because of your website, Paul will be attending his reunion next week! -- Charlie Horan

Dennis, the Web Site is great. I emailed a few people today. Can you post my email address? Nancy Bass

I visited the class website and was just astonished - what a fabulous site! I could tell a tremendous amount of work went into it. ... Robert Alan Epstein

Great web site! I am trying to figure out how to make the reunion. Timing is bad as I will be in Amsterdam the week before, then zip down to Florida but will try to figure out how to make the logistics work. It was fun to hear what all my high school pals are up to... Josh Gordon

- I love the site...I couldn't get off it!...Maria Leone

- Thanks to Dennis, I have been in-touch with so many of my old friends from DMHS!...Karen Freidberg

- First of all I'd like to thank-you and the site as I was able to reach Carol Mathieu - we talked for a long time and it was like old times -... Elaine Manneh

Remember the Class Album

Current events & what is happening today with our class of '69 members.

4/16/05 - Marie Dooley checked in to let us know she is on the mend and back at work after a 3 month layoff from a car accident in December.  She broke 4 ribs in the process but tells us she is feeling much better.

2/03 -  Just Heard From Josh Gordon - He has had another article published in Selling Power Magazine The article is entitled, "Hey, You Got a Problem With That?" and starts on page 42:  The link to it is  http://www.selling2.net/Selling%20Power%20Jan%20Feb%202003.htm

1/13/03 - I see that our own Rich Krasinskas  is now a Lt. on the force! Congratulations.

11/22/01 - Josh Gordon was a keynote speaker at a CRM conference. CLick this link and see what he had to say in the November 01 edition of Inc Magazine

-- Just heard that Arlene Myer's husband had surgery (sept 01) and as such she may be unable to make the reunion. We will miss seeing her but we all send our best for a speedy recovery. [9/25/01 ed. note; At her husband's insistence he ensured Arlene did not miss the 9/22 and we are glad she was able to make it]

-- We bet you never knew we had a budding opera singer in our midst; well the Tree (aka Dan Robbins) advises; I'm doing an opera at the end of October. An operatta, actually, but "The Mikado" (Gilbert & Sullivan) is pretty much the closest thing the English language gets to grand opera musically. Although I do a lot of theatre, I never consider myself much of a singer, so this is a real stretch for me. We've just started vocal rehearsals, but don't get into it in earnest 'til September.

-- Heard Valentina Weslovs is recovering from bypass surgery. Valentina after a rough start is doing just fine and we send best wishes for a speedy recovery.

-- Learned that Paula Harrington's father was hit by a truck a few months back and it has been a very slow recovery. We send everyone our best wishes and strength for a positive outcome.

-- Learned that Carl Cosenza is in Florida but suffers from a rare skin hardening disease: "scrumaderma" (sic). Won't be able to make the birthday party but we wish him continued good health.

-- Congratulations to Ricky Ellbeg on his new job; emergency Department Nurse Manager at Heywood Memorial Hospital in Gardner.

-- We wish Sue Trainor's boyfriend a full and speedy recovery.

-- We also wish Sue Samara's boy Alexander a continued but steady & full recovery.
