Bor = Mine

Lek = Iron or steel

Bor Lek Namphi = The Namphi steel mines

Daab = Sword

Hak = Broken; hence Daab Hak means Broken Sword

Phra Khan = A double edged blade

Phra Saeng = A prefix meaning "Royal Weapon"; e.g. Phra Saeng Darb means Royal Sword

Phraya = A high ranking officer of medieval Thailand. Starting from Phraya, Chao Phraya and finally Somdet Chao Phraya as the highest possible rank for commoners.

Namphi village = The only place in Thailand where the rare Namphi ore is found. Namphi is situated in Thong Saeng Kaan district, Uttaradit province (7 hours north of Bangkok).

Lek Lai = A legendary sacred iron in Thai superstitions.
