As to the often asked question, "How do you find these names?" -- I spend
many hours researching for the perfect sounding and meaningful name to give each character in any of my books.
This trilogy added more challenges to my usual process because of the worlds, species, and languages I imagined these people
to have. I could not simply 'stick a name' on them. I did my best not to have similar names, unless they
were meant to be as with the twins, or similar to any other character name I've seen in similar books.
I have several character naming reference books I use to match meanings to personalities
and sounds to different species. The first sections I turn to are usually Celtic, Norse, and Welsh, but Egyptian and English
have been used for a few. I also use a Latin word directory although I can't guarantee its accuracy. That's how I find
the names I do.
