THE LEAPS

Leap 1In my first Leap, I hit about 40 sites and learned all about how very world-wide a continuous leap could be. Included here are links to great MIDI sites, HTML Help, fan sites for Third-Eye Blind and the Canadian group MOIST.
Leap 2A brief Leap, but one filled with graphics information.
Leap 3Still the largest published Leap to date, with 70 sites. Major topics include: Gay guys, marching bands, Goths, Hanson, teenage writers, dogs and ferrets, and Web Chatters.
Leap 4One page, and only 5 sites, titled "American Families".
Leap 5This is a lengthy Leap that takes strange turns. I thought it would be about Elvis, but moved into Automotive sites, then martial arts, a few different places and ending up with some Truckers.
Leap 6I was celebrating joining my first Web Ring, which took me right into the area of Scouting. All kinds. Worldwide and more interesting than it sounds.
Leap 7On this site, Random Leaper wound up revisiting some previous topics, specifically, Goths, Poets, Writers... and "Gurrls". Interesting point: information on Roald Dahl. Recently found out that my ending point has since been updated and this Leap really could be continued.
Leap 8This was a very touching Leap, filled with individual memorials to loved ones. Most of these are read through tears. Moves on to Siamese Cats, Web Romance, Star Trek and winds up with some kids from Nova Scotia.
Leap 9Fifteen sites on one page. First we get a whole bunch of recipes, then move into the world of Romance Novels with some PUBLISHED authors.

JUNE 24, 1999: After much internal debate, I did some rethinking about this site. Check it out.

June 24, 1999Starts out with some fan sites for Ben and Casey Affleck, then moves into some dangerous-seeming cyberteens. I abandoned this one.
June 25, 1999A bunch of stuff about anime. Don't think these programs are carried in my area, but a lot of people are really into it.
June 30, 1999 through July 1, 1999Nine sites visited on a 2-day leap. All about greyhounds, and includes my favorite "feel-good" site by my buddy Brenda. (What the hey, I'll link to it here).
July 8 through 15, 1999Mostly a lot of nice people with really cool websites, then I entered into the world of Tori Amos Pages (I have 15 of them on a separate page and now I get all kinds of Tori Amos e-mail). Somehow I got leaped out of personal home pages and just had to stop.
July 16 through 27, 1999This was a lengthy Leap, which encompassed 34 sites. Topics here include Native American Spirituality, Drum Corps and Marching Bands, Cooking, and Christianity.
October 21, 1999This one is titled "Romance and Women of Spirit". Only seven sites, but fascinating until it ended rather abruptly.
October 28 - November 2, 1999Fourteen sites that take us from MACS v. PC through some talented teenagers, funny male bashers and writers.
