You may include between one and three Igemonos for each Elite or HQ choice.
Each Igemonos must be attached to a Demiurg squad as indicated in the army
list. The Igemonos is a member of his squad and cannot leave it during the
game. Options: The Igemonos can be given any equipment allowed from
the Demiurg Armoury.
SPECIAL RULES
Leaders: Although often found leading smaller expeditions on
their own, Igemonos will always follow the correct chain of command, and
will thus pass leadership of larger forces to their superiors. To represent this
dual role, Igemonos
may be taken as both HQ and Elite choices.

Eklekti are the Demiurg fighting elite, one of few permanently ready
fighting units within the Demiurg. They are well trained and well armed, and
wear into battle an advanced form of armour unique to their fighting
formations. Although Eklekti armour appears to be only slightly bulkier than
normal Demiurg carapace, it is composed of a high density mineral alloy called
mithrillium, affording its wearing a level of protection close to that
provided by Imperial Tactical Dreadnought armour.
Squad: The squad consists of between
three and eight Eklekti.
Weapons: Pneumatic rifle and power pick. Eklekti are also equipped
with Eklekti armour.
Options: Any model may replace their pneumatic rifle with one fo the
following: pneumatic carbine at +3 pts; pneumatic rifle with auxiliary weapon
at +5 pts; Thyreos shield at +10 pts. Any model may replace their power pick
with a rock drill at +15 pts.
Up to two models may be armed with one of the following: incinerator
cannon at +X pts, seismic cannon at +X pts; pneumatic cannon at +X pts;
pneumatic gatling at +X pts.
Character: The squad may be led by an Igemonos bought
separately from the HQ or Elites section of the Army List.
Transport Vehicle: The entire squad may be mounted in a Dromos or
Astrapi bought separately from the Fast Attack section of the Army List.

Thyreos squads form a heavy shield wall in order to protect the advance
of Demiurg forces. Each Thyreos carries a huge shield taller than himself,
incorporating a tiny Seismos field generator. This acts to ward off incoming
fire targetted both at the squad and at Demiurg behind the shield wall,
providing no small measure of protection for an advancing or retreating
Demiurg expedition.
Squad: The squad consists of between five and ten Demiurg.
Weapons: Pick and thyreos shield.
Options: Any model may replace their pick with a pneumatic pistol
at no additional cost. Up to two models may replace their pick with: power
pick at +10 pts; rock drill at +15 pts; incinerator pistol at +4 pts.
The entire squad may be equipped with seismic grenades at +1 pt per
model.
Character: The squad may be led by an Igemonos bought
separately from the HQ or Elites section of the Army List.
Transport Vehicle: The entire squad may be mounted in a Dromos bought separately from the Fast Attack section of the Army List.
SPECIAL RULES
Shield wall: In addition to their use for their own personal
protection, Thyreos squads are trained to use their shields to deflect
incoming fire aimed at Demiurg behind them. To represent this, any Demiurg unit being shot through a unit of Thyreos
may claim a 5+ cover save. |
