Who are Queensr˙che?

Queensr˙che is a progressive heavy metal band formed in Seattle Washington in 1981. The band is considered progressive because they continually change their sound, the band always evolves.

Official Empire

I became a fan of Queensr˙che's work in 1983 when a friend of mine returned from Seattle Washington with a gift for me. It was a 206 Records Version of the Queensr˙che EP on vinyl. I listened to it and was hooked from the beginning, making copies of it and distributing it amongst my friends. The following year, I purchased "The Warning", the band's first full length album. This was the moment in my life that set the hook, and reeled me in. The rest is just Queensr˙che history. I have attended 10 events by the band, including fan club parties and concerts. In 1997, I formed Another Rainy Emp˙re. At the time it was the only existing Empire in the state of Washington. Our membership has been up and down over the years, but I will push to make 2002 the best year this Empyre has ever seen. I have been through the roughest times in my life with this band, and eagerly look forward to the band's next 20 years.
