The M24 bolt action rifle is currently the Army's standard sniper rifle. Features include a five round internal magazine, effective range of 875 yards, weight of 12.1 lbs, optional detachable bipod, and the use of the Remington 700 action, although the receiver has been modified to take the .300 Winchester Magnum round. |

The SSG-PIV bolt action rifle incorporates six heavy duty rear locking lugs, two gas ports, cocking indicator, recessed bolt face, and a modified knob type bolt handle. It is a short rifle, with a a 16" barrel and removable flash hider. With the flash hider removed, the barrel is threaded for the use of suppression devices. |

The 7.62 mm PSG-1 high precision marksman's rifle is the result of further development of the characteristic features of the HK Weapon System. The PSG-1 has optimal firing accuracy, which was previously thought to be a sole characteristic of a bolt action rifle.
