10/31/04 My 2nd and 3rd students wrote me this letter one day. The youngest student Daniel read the letter to the class as I was teaching another class. He was so cute standing there reading me this letter. I was so touched that the students wrote me this letter calling me the "best teacher in the whole wide world" and writing that "100" grade as my heart. I had tears in my eyes as Daniel read that sweet letter to me. I was so surprised because the kids did this on their own without telling me. I'd say this is the best present I got this week especially after having argued with my boss when the boss blamed me when two kids cheated while I was proctoring a test. This letter really makes teaching worthwhile, not the nitpicking by the administration. It's the little kids that brings a smile to my heart. Cute letter isn't it?
5/30/05 Happy Memorial Day! I might be adding a new author to the Other Authors page. Her name is Susan Lee. She is a colleague that I met at a teaching convention a few months back. This will be the first story I have posted to this website that is NOT related to fanfiction. I am honored that Susan let me betaread her story. As soon as I have time, I will post her stories up.
4/12/05 I got the results back and boy am I relieved! The results show that I have a "precancerous" lesion which means that the pimple is not cancerous but it also means that I have a huge risk factor for skin cancer and I must be careful from now on whenever I go out in the sun. I am just so glad that I do not have basal cell cancer! Yippee!
4/03/05 I went to the dermatologist for an acne problem or at least I thought it was an acne problem but the doctor told me that I might have Basal Cell Skin Cancer. So they took a biopsy which means they take a sample of your zit and analyze it under the microscope. I am supposed to get the test results this coming Thursday, 4/07/05. I am waiting on pins and needles to see if I have Skin Cancer. I still can't believe that I might have Basal Cell Skin Cancer. Of course the operative word at this point is "Might". This waiting period is killing me! (no pun intended). Pray for me that the results show I do NOT have Basal Cell Skin cancer! I am so worried!
1/09/05 It's the start of a totally new year 2005! How sad Dick Clark had his stroke and wasn't able to broadcast his usual ABC Rocking Eve. I did love those flashbacks Dick Clark did of previous New Years Eve. I used to think Dick Clark was young forever since Dick Clark even had his own TV show in the 1950's! I love my Smallville DVD Season 1, Season 2 and now Season 3 collection. The Hercules DVD Season 5 5 that I preordered is now shipping! Finally! It's so sad that Liddy Holloway, the actress who played Alcmene, Hercules' mother, on the Hercules series died of liver cancer recently. She was such a talented actress and way too young too die. It's hard to believe that this month on 1/25/05 this site will be 5 years old! 5 years online! Wow! I've really had a good time keeping this website updated. I've also added some new pictures to my Art page. They are pictures of my trip of North Carolina when they had an ice storm over Christmas. The pictures of frozen North Carolina are mixed with my pictures of my trip to the West Coast where it is usually sunny and warm. Just scroll down the first two pictures and you'll hit the ice storm palm tree sunny pictures. I lost 10 pounds but I still want to lose 10 more pounds! That's why I'm trying to swim every day and the swimming is good for my asthma!
10/13/04 I am really sad that Christopher Reeve died 2 days ago. The tribute that they at the end of Smallville "He made you believe that a man can fly" really hit me in the heart. Reeve was my first crush. I was about 17 when I saw the original Superman movie and the man had the most gorgeous blue eyes. After his accident, I was really devastated for him. He has done more with his life than many able-bodied men. Even after the accident left him paralyzed, he still cared enough to pioneer research that could save other people's lives. To me, when Reeve died, it really was the day Superman died.
9/5/04 It has been nearly six months since I've last updated this page. From April 2004 until July 2004, I had no computer because I had moved to another apartment while my main apartment was being renovated. I got new floors, new paint job (Just think I haven't painted this place for 20 years!). So I really missed updating this web page. I also caught bronchitis AGAIN in May 2004 and then it took 2 months for me to finally recover. I moved back to my main apartment with new wooden floors, new kitchen cabinets and appliances, new bathtub, new bathroom sink and new bathroom tiles in July 2004. Then it took me one whole month to move EVERYTHING back in. I must have had like 20 boxes or more to pack and unpack this year. With my asthma, all the dust that the moving, renovation, and packing caused, caused me to cough ALOT. Thus I had no time to do any art to update my art page and I haven't written any fanfiction stories this year either! Now I have finally updated my art page with a new COLLAGE and ASSEMBLAGES section. For the first time, I have done some oil painting. Of course the result was terrible. My oil painting look no better than my water paintings which is yuck!
3/21/04 It is the first day of Spring! I can't believe I survived the brutal winter 2004! I first took sick in November 2003 and I've been sick all the way until March 2004! 5 solid months of colds and coughs! Ugh! I can't wait until the warm weather and good health! The apartment contractor has been waiting 3 months to renovate my apartment! I was supposed to renovate 1/20/04 and be done by 3/20/04 but due to all my illnesses everything has been postponed! Hopefully now I can be in good enough health to start the ball rolling again.
I've written three new stories that are still in draft form. One is a Smallville story; another is a cutsy Hercules story based on an actual incident in my school and the last is an Andromeda/Hercules crossover story based on an episode that I liked. I sure do miss Tyr though but the new guy Steve Bacic as the new Nietzchean isn't half bad and is cute in his own way though not as intense as Tyr. I will post the stories I am currently working on as soon as they've been beta read.
Some important Sci Fi news: I've bought several DVDs. The Quantum Leap Season 1 DVD is availabe for preorder at Amazon.com and will deliver in June. The Smallville Second Season DVD also is available at DVD and will deliver in May and the Hercules Season 3 DVD is also available at Amazon.com and is being shipped as we speak! I'm so excited to get this new DVD!
I can't believe that my Skylark Art page is now approaching its first anniversary! I've had that page up for one year! Wow and I've used up 4.3 megabytes out of 15 on my yahoo site. I am going to try oil painting this month and I will put up my oil paintings as soon as I try it out. I've never oil painted in my life nor have I ever taken an oil painting class. I'm just following an art book!I've posted a few new digital photos, and one new waterpainting on my art page. Digital photography is fun! I shoot my photos with the old HP Photosmart 318 and print them out on the old HP Photosmart 1215. My camera takes lousy zoom shots and it's getting kind of old. Wish I had the money to buy a combination zoom camera and digital. I hear that kind of camera costs thousands of dollars! The Art page really lets me use the right side of my brain!
1/23/04 I have several important items to report: First, I am finally recovering from pleurisy and asthma which put me in the emergency room twice this month! I am really glad to be alive! It was a close call folks!This sickness really made me bring my life into focus and made me realize just how important family and friends really are. You truly know who your friends really are when the chips are down. I am really grateful for the friends and family that I have to keep me going. I am taking off from work to recover from my illness and decided to update my websites.
Second, In October 2003, I created a tribute to Michael Hurst to congratulate him on winning the prestigious Art award in New Zealand for which I'm told by a reliable online source, Mr. Hurst was touched to receive all the tributes that were given to him by his fans. 12/17/03 One Week to Christmas!Merry Xmas and Happy New Year to everyone! This site is fast approaching its 4th year anniversary! About 12,005 people have visited my site WOW! I've fixed the link to my art page so the picture should work now. I'm not sure how the link became corrupted though. I haven't had the time to write any new stories but I did buy Season One and Season Two DVD of Hercules and I bought Season One DVD of Smallville. And get this, I don't have a DVD player yet! I also ordered a Dylan Hunt action figure! It used to be 33.00 but now it's reduced price to 13.99! Other big news: Kevin Sorbo and his wife are expecting another baby in the Spring 2004! Congrats go to the Sorbos! For a great rendition of the Hercules stories, go to the Iolausian library and go to RLJ and the fanfiction writers are rewriting Season 1 of the Hercules saga. Great stories are there too!
11/26/03 I want to wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving! I can't wait until Turkey Day to eat my turkey with all the trimmings and man this will totally devastate my diet! I did lose 7 pounds in the last 3 weeks! Whoa! Due to my job workload, I haven't had time to write or post any stories :( However, today I did discover something at Alta Vista. Ever wanted to read my stories but found the English to be too hard well don't despair because now you can you the Alta Vista Babel Translation device. Just type in the web page you want to translate and voila the whole web page is translated into any language you want. Warning: The translation is only 70% correct.
The first Alta Vista box translates whatever you want to type into the box into any language you want.
In this second Alta Vista box translates into some other languages as well. I don't think it translates into Asian languages like the above box but feel free to try!
11/03/03 I did work on a story I wrote a few months ago and it's been uploaded to my Yahoo site. The newest story is called "Exposed" and I wrote it in a hurry. I saw one of the episodes of Smallville and the cameraman came too close to Tom Welling's eyes and I could see that the actor who plays Clark Kent wears contact lenses! Superman is not supposed to have eye problems like the rest of us! LOL oh yeah and last bit of good news Michael Hurst, Iolaus of Hercules, has won a very prestigious arts award in New Zealand where Hurst has earned $40,000. 9/05/03 It has been a couple of months since I've been able to update this webpage. Sorry for the long summer hiatus but at work I was overwhelmed and had so much to do that I had absolutely no time whatsoever to do this page. Finally, the summer madness is over and now I have had the time to come up with two stories that I have uploaded to my Geocities page. Two stories called My Hero and Michaelangelo's Pizza on my geocities fanfiction page. I'm sorry but for some reason I can't seem to type in the correct code for the links to these stories so you'll just have to go to the geocities page link located at the top of this page for links to those stories. 6/15/03 Happy Father's Day for all of you in the United States! I've added a new story to my fanfiction pages. It's called "Spiders, Detention" and I added several new orange flowers in my digital photos section of my art page and I added 3 new watercolors on my Art page. One of the watercolors was supposed to be an ocean with a sunset but I painted it so badly that it came out looking more like a forest. Only I can paint an ocean into a forest but it still came out to be a good painting! It's my Geocities Art page that has the latest art additions.

5/9/03 I have created a whole new art page on my Geocities mirror site I am very proud of my art and enjoy painting and photography immensely and wish I had more time for it.

2/9/03 I now have a mirror site on Geocities Yahoo. Ever since Tripod crashed in their filemanager, I have created another website with all my Hercules stories. 2/8/03 I added a few new stories at my Other series page. The stories are: Pride and Prejudice, a Smallville story; Who wears the pants?, a Lois and Clark story and Captain Barclay, a Star Trek story. On my Hercules page, I've posted another version of Working out with Iolaus, but you have to be over 18 to read this story. I've also added a web banner which I created that I posted in the Smallville section of my Other Series page. page. It's my first try at poetry so please don't laugh! 6/4/01 Changed all the
fonts on the website to Arial font. Changed the color of all the text on the
website including the stories to green to match the top banner of each page.
Also changed the background color of all stories to black to match the overall
space effect of the web page. The Links page is currently under

Finale of Andromeda.: Dylan Hunt, Trance and Beka Valentine are unconscious on
the bridge.Tyr and Harper are captured by the Magog and is on the Magog
homeworld about to be sacrificed to their God. There is a BIG hole in the
Andromeda. and the Andromeda seems to be floating listlessly in space. Rommie
has been stabbed by the rampaging Magog. Rev Bem runs down the hall muttering
"I must rescue Tyr and Harper"..Every human is unconscious! New season of Andromeda in the United States
will air the week of October 1st, 2001. It's going to be a LONG summer of

Bakula of Quantum Leap ( I loved Scott in Quantum Leap..he's so gorgeous!)
will be the new Captain of the new Series V Star Trek
series which is supposed to debut Fall 2001..keep your eyes peeled! Name of the
new Star Trek series "Enterprise". The new Star Trek series is
supposed to take place before Captain Kirk and his crew set out to space in
other words before TOS. (The original series). 5/15/01 Gave a color background to all my

Look for my site under Library Links on the Iolausian Library's main page. 1-26-2000 The web site is published to Tripod for the very first time! 1-25-2000 This is the first time I am creating this webpage with
Microsoft Frontpage for my computer class. I have added all 11 stories from my
computer about Hercules and Iolaus. Upcoming stories will include crossovers
with other series like Hercules and Iolaus meets Scully and Mulder/ Hercules and
Iolaus meets Lois and Clark.
