As you read through the pages of this book, you will meet the whimsical philosopher named Pooh. Although Pooh always refers to himself as a Bear of Very Little Brain, you soon learn that he is wiser than Rabbit or Owl. Pooh's insight of himSelf (of all of us) is very refreshing. When asked by Christopher Robin what's his favorite thing in life is, his first thought is "Eating Honey!" On further contemplation though Pooh decides "it's the moment just before he eats honey!", that is his favorite thing in life.

Another favorite part of the book is where Piglet, and Pooh are sitting having a conversation and Pooh says "Rabbit's pretty smart", and Piglet replies yeah "Rabbit's pretty smart", and Pooh says "Rabbit's got brain", and Piglet replies yeah "Rabbit's got brain", and then after a long silence Pooh finally says "I suppose that's why he doesn't understand anything." And that is Pooh...a Bear of Very Little Brain who supposedly doesn't have a chance against the likes of Owl and Rabbit yet everything works out so well for our silly little bear.
