Our mud oven and barbeque grill was a fun family project we started building in July 2002 and finished in January 2004. This website is a documented photo journey of our experiences building it. Because of the number of pictures and documentation involved we have divided it into several sections listed above. To follow the entire project Start with section (1) and continue to section (5). The roof of the outdoor kitchen was finished in January 2004. In spite of the cold weather we tried the barbeque several times during the winter and are pleased with the results. We are waiting to start using the earth oven again when spring arrives. We will be adding recipes to the recipes link as we experiment and find ones we like. We will be adding more tools to the tool link as we discover what we need. |
