funnily enough some of the most extreme non copers of any sort of criticism with one exception have been zen masters/teachers on their blogs or facebook pages.........................

hum and sing or chant to resonate the lungs and nasal passages and even resonate the gums by bending the head and neck right down
you can also do a deeper hum (whooo) to resonate the spleen and then the liver, holding your hands over your head with fingers intertwined and the palms facing upwards may also help focus the hum in the spleen, then the liver
this kickstarts the immune system in those areas
also do neck stretches as its the one area of stretches that has been proven to significantly improve cardiovascular health, in general stretches seem to create problems !
hold the arms right out and do a small rotating circular motion and move the arms and shoulders to loosen up the thoracic outlet !
move the eyes up and down, diagonally, sideways, back and forth
, then roll to equalize the intraocular eye pressure after the night's sleep
i find it best to leave off more than minimal exercise for an hour or so after waking, but then a short run of several minutes, starting slow and when warmed up, finishing hard, gets the blood flowing and the blood pressure usefully up !

so a really good translation might be 20 or 30% of what was there originally !
of course zen has the particular problem of being mainly an oral tradition in the sense that a lot of the written records we have are actually transcriptions which are subject to bias problems in the transcribers and copyists and all this before translation !

brad warner I notice is having difficulty in making any head way in getting himself established with some sort of financial base in zen, and again I think it's because he is one of the better teachers, but in doing what he does he supports idiots like nonin chowaney !
so my advice to brad, george and lorainne would be to abandon zen and basically strike out themselves in the way advaita teachers do, with the net you don't need the organizational publishing structure !
in fact brad warner was always outside it, but unfortunately for him the net has derated book publishing to the extent it is very difficult to make money from writing books and basically kick starter or donations is the way to go !
