Welcome to the Air 2005 issue of Mystic Horizon Press!
As mentioned on the homepage, this will be our last issue for awhile as the zine goes on hiatus.
This being a new venture, we weren't quite sure how it was going to turn out and, ultimately, we feel we need to re-think
some aspects of the zine before we can continue.
However, this doesn't mean that we're leaving you with mere drivel! This issue, while small, offers
some great work in a variety of forms. We have two visual art pieces to show you, one short story and several fantastic works
of poetry. There did seem to be a slight theme of old age going on for awhile there, which prompted your publisher to include
one of her own works on that particular subject, but it's not all doom and gloom, we promise! We did include a couple of works
that we were planning to save for the Fire 2005 issue, ones that we didn't want to lose in the ether. And this issue ends
on a rather hopeful note with one of two poems submitted by Patricia Wellingham-Jones.
Anyway, we hope you enjoy! Even though we're going on hiatus, we charge all of our readers to keep
the fight for the arts alive however you can. We fully intend to return, bigger and badder than ever, to do our part in spreading
around the wonderful work by today's artists all over the world.
