My Father,

Alden March Townsend,

My Mentor, My hero!

Alden March Townsend, 75, passed away at Hospice House North on April 5, 2004.

Al is survived by his loving wife, Helen, his children; Cyrus (Terry) Cook in Hudson, FL., Colleen (James) Terry in N. Ft. Myers, FL, Sarah (Wayne) Taranoff in Sitka, AK, his sister Nellie Roberts in Albany, NY, 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren.

Al was born in Albany, NY and moved to FL. in 1969. He was the owner of Towns End Truck & Equipment Service, Inc., served in the U. S. Army, Life member of VFW, active member of N. Ft. Myers Elks Lodge 2742.

Memorial services were held on May 1, 2004 at 3:00 PM at N. Ft. Myers Elks Lodge on Twin Brooks Rd.
