My first born. He arrived at 26 weeks gestation and has had to fight every since. First it was health and just trying to live and now it is just life throwing everything it can at him.

Patrick was born November 2nd, 1977. He was a premature infant and had collapsed lungs and many problems for many months. He was strong though and fought for his right to live. I was no more than a child myself and I more or less raised him to be my friend instead of my child. I did many many things wrong in raising him. Many of his problems as an adult are due to my weaknesses to stand against the wrong things being done to us. He lived in the fast lane for awhile until he hit rock bottom. Nothing I did helped and no one could help him till he was willing to acknowledge he had some problems. I do believe over the past two years he has finally grown up and knows life is hard and you just gotta try to stay ahead of the bad.

Yes we have both done lots of things wrong. I hope your life gets easier as you have grown a lot. I want you to know something FIRST AND FOREMOST!!! YOU ARE MY BABY BOY AND NO MATTER WHAT HAS HAPPENED, I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU AND I AM NOT EMBARRASSED BY YOU OR YOUR PAST!!! NEVER WILL BE!!! I only hope you have grown into the wonderful young man I knew you always were!! Just remember to think first then act!!! or not act as the case may be!!! MOMMA LOVES YOU BABYCAKES!!!
