My Pets

us2framed.jpg

These are a few pictures of some of the furry family members we have had over the years and some that are still with us. All of our little bundles of joys have brought new and exciting time to our lives. Some have had VERY strange habits and attitudes.

This Page is dedicated to my dchildren because of the love we share for our animals!

Elizabeth is now 17 and no longer has these bunnies but I am very proud of her winning attempt at raising and breeding them. We all had a wonderful time watching them grow and become personalities in their own rights.

GREAT GOING SWEETY!!!

This is Honey "B" on the left. She is a red mini red
Rabbit. She is 2 years old and has won 1st place ribbons
At the local county fair two years in a row. This
Past year she also took the best of breed doe!! She
Is one of our pride and joys! This past year she gave
Us two new additions to our family. They are the other
pictures you see here! Please read on and meet them!

Shown top right is Cassidy. She is our little girl!! She
is very much like her mother! She likes to cuddle and eat.
We believe she will also bring home her share of blue ribbons!
Our fair is held the last week of February and she will be
there right along side her mother!!

Shown bottom right is Butch. Our little boy! He is one of
Honey "B"s little bundles. He is a little smaller than the
females and a little stand offish. But a love still the same!!
He eats as much as the girls so we are hoping he will start
to grow!! LOL

Our Strangest Family Member

This is Chippers. I got him for mothers day this year...Other women get flowers and jewelry, I get animals!! LOL Don't be fooled. He is what I asked for! He is still young and likes to lash out at ya if ya don't do what he likes. He has bonded with us though and is very protective if strangers show up!! How do you like that!! A prairie dog watch dog! LOL He is growing like a weed. Chippers has doubled in growth since May! I don't know exactly how big he will get but he already holds his own with our five cats! They are learning not to make him mad. He has very big teeth and claws! He is getting much better though and will allow me to snuggle for a little while. He can be very loving when the mood strikes him! Which is not very often, so, I have to watch for it in suspense! LOL

UPDATE!! 12/20/98
Chippers is no longer with us!! We were forced to find him a new home. He became so violent with us that we could no longer get him out of his cage. We could not in good conscious, keep him like that! That would not have been fair to us or to him. We took him to a local vet and they assured us that they would be able to find a good home for him. We will miss him; however, we will not miss his teeth!

GOOD BYE CHIPPERS!

On this page you are meeting almost all of the rest of our furry family. There are still two members missing. As soon as I find pics of them they will be added! In the middle you see Shotzy!! She is full-blooded Dachshund.. Most of the time she is a joy. If you have a small dog you surely know what I mean. LOL She is about 6 years old and constantly full of........energy, I guess you could say! LOL In the bottom left corner is Morris. he was bought for Patty for her sweet 16... Patrick is now 21 so Morris is 5. Morris has now become my cat more than Patricks, since Patrick has moved out a few times and could not take him. He weighs in at a hefty 16 pounds and is a BIG baby!!! His birthday is September 2 1993.. Bottom right is Muggs!! Muggs is our Walmart baby!! We went to Walmart on Halloween eve of 1996 and there were people outside trying to find a home for kittens...Muggs came home with us! He is an active cat. Loves to play and jumps higher than any cat I have ever seen! He is a love to be sure. Top left is Angel Eyes. I know that her eyes glow in the pic, but, in reality they are the prettiest ice blue! Angel is one of three kittens born on July 1, 1997,from Muggs, Morris, and another cat we used to have named Puud!! (before we could get them all broken (fixed)) Angel shows the most Siamese traits. Both Muggs and Puud had littermates that looked Siamese. She is a beautiful baby and she knows it!! Full of herself most of the time. She loves to be loved and pet, however, she does not like to be picked up! She is very independent! She also has the purr of a jet engine. It can be heard ten feet away! Top right is Bout. She is the biggest baby.. Scared of everything. She was the first born of the kittens and started meowing as soon as she came out!! Her name is french for MOUTH!!! It fit her from the word go!! She can actually say Momma when she wants me too. I know it sounds strange but I swear she does! She will very rarely show herself to anyone else. She is mine and mine alone! The third kitten, which you do not see yet, is D'zer. His name is so long because we could not decide on just one that we just call him D'man or D'zer. He thinks he is parrot! Every since he was old enough to walk, he has ridden on our left shoulder. I do believe he is Muggs child because he seems to also be part kangaroo!! He is orange like Bouche and Morris but he is a happy medium between their sizes. he also has very bright eyes that seem to take in everything and learn from it! These are most of my babies! To my hubby they are sometimes a joy and sometimes a pain. I do admit they take a lot of care and time but they give a lot of love in return. They are just like my children and they return every ounce of love I give them! Since I am in Alaska now. The babies were left with my X-husband. I can only pray he has loved them as we did...IF he still has any of them!!!

GABRIEL AND GRACIE

This is Gabrial and Gracie. Our two white ring-necked doves. We came upon them because a woman down the street who had an indoor outdoor aviary had to set them free. There was a big bird (osprey perhaps) Attacking them thru the wire. The way the laws are you can not even holler at them without risk of the law swooping down on you. So to give them a chance she had set them free. One fleww to our door and stayed. So we ended up with a breeding pair. Thay had one baby from the first batch of eggs. He did not reach maturity though.. The second set of eggs turned out to be 1!!! and not furtile. We now have two eggs under poor Gabe (gracie seems to think it is all his job and he sits for sometimes 10 hours before she will relieve him! LOL Stop back often for an update on our feathered family members!

MUGGIES!! MOMMA MISSES YOU!!

Muggies.....One of my favorite children. Muggs would not let me move most times unless he was right there to help. He loved to join me in the powder room ad well. a very loving baby.. Muggies slept with me and had to be connected in one way or another at all times. I miss him terribly!!!

A cat; Actual size=240 pixels wide
