Despite the vacillating number and quality of Christian artists within the APA communities throughout the years, these featured artists have proven their respective music ministries through the test of time. Junko - for those who want the feelgood/traditional Amy Grant-like songs, Church of Rhythm - who brings their techno-dance rhythms to their audiences,

BIG DOG SMALL FENCE - Deci-mal (DJ/Vocals), Greg Kawai (drums), Sammy Wright (Guitar) and Pablo Tovar (Vocals/Bass) started five years as a worship band that wanted to influence the ska community. Through playing clubs and churches in the LA area in reaching out with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, their music has evolved to include Jazz to Punk, from Ska to Latin, and a large influence from reggae and hip-hop. Their infectious ska-core grooves, intense hip-hop overtones, and powerful horns have allowed them to play with Buck O Nine, the Supertones and Five Iron Frenzy.

CHURCH OF RHYTHM - is "the united nations of funk" with members from Korea, Lebanon, Hong Kong, Canada and the United States. It's ethnic diversity brings an unspoken message of racial harmony and equality to their audiences. Originating through the ministries of Willow Creek Community Church in suburban Chicago, COR now has six enthusiastic members dedicated to reaching this generation with a voice of encouragement about making the church a place to be real.

JUNKO - Her latest recording, "Eternal Treasure," sums up what Junko treasures the most in her life-her family, her friends, and, most of all, Jesus Christ. Junko found music was always a source of consolation and joy, a ticket into people's hearts, a way for Junko to fit in and to connect with them. In August of 1999, Junko's popularity as the "local" act made her a top choice to open for Michael W. Smith for two concerts in Honolulu.

CHOICES - Christmas soundtrack c.d. that features various Asian Pacific American / Multi-ethnic artists such as Second Wind, Junko, Steve Moriya, Madisun, Maggie Chen, Ja'a, Maggie Chen and others. Denny's Restaurants, Pacific Bell and The Gas Company are some of the corporate sponsors. This eclectic collection of alternative, swing, r&b, rock and folk ballad tracks are raising funds for Michael Chang's Foundation, Asian Pacific Resource Center of the LA County Public Library and the Asian Youth Center.

THE KATINAS - These five Samoan brothers, who resides in Nashville, are the Asian Pacific American version of The Winans - a great gospel singing group that features phat beats and great singing! They have appeared on Amy Grant's last two Christmas tour, along with Cece Winans and Michael W. Smith and have appeared on other great c.d.'s such as Paul Jackson Jr.!
