Background Information

Our Non-Profit Organization plans to transform this abandoned army base into a world-reknowned International Community Center. This project could also help to clarify the concept of "land for peace" by dedicating an entire mountain to the world, for a "Health and Nature Reserve" This proposal suggests that the Mt. of Strength be developed in three, intricately connected ways:

  1. "The Back to Health Treatment Center" would provide a complementary component for those interested in improving their physical, mental and/or social well-being.
  2. "The Garden School" would be a specialized college, providing extensive training, workshops and services, in wholistic health, sustainable agriculture, stress management, conflict resolution, creativity and ecological awareness.
  3. "The Har Eitan Nature Reserve" would preserve the spiritual and natural ambiance of the mountain while providing a variety of hospitality services to make these facilities as comfortable and accessible as possible.
