Sometimes my brain's activity gets sucked into the Bermuda Triangle of lost thoughts. Mostly right around sleep time, but often during the afternoon stretch after lunch at work, and occasionally in mid-sentence. I suppose that if you could travel to where the lost thoughts go you'd find useless banter and silly anecdotes in abundance, but if you mined the territory carefully you'd find a few gems as well. All the brilliant ideas that were on the verge of being expressed when suddenly, cruelly, they were sucked away into the Triangle.

My own contributions have included a couple of really good songs, some lines of poetry, and the meaning of life.

And some other stuff I can't remember.
