THE NEWS WARS
Cyberia's rapidly growing industry

Cyberia's fastest growing industry is the informational industry. The first newspaper, Cyberian Times-Union, was very popular and summarized what happened in Cyberia each week. Then, it was replaced by Cyberia Today, a very popular newsmagazine that focuses more on news anaylsis and commentary. We also have the Cyberian News Resource, the Mattimeo Messenger, the Cyberian National Radio Service, and various other news sources.

What has caused this recent explosion of newspapers and the like? It is possibly due to the rise of journalists in Cyberia. Then again, it could be that it is an extension of debate, as well as an outlet for discussing the impact of the actions we Cyberians take daily.

This industry is rapidly becoming Cyberia's most important sector of the economy. Daily, new businesses and new profits boost the industry and its importants. For instance, Cyberia Today sells its magazines for ~3.25 an issue, or ~1.75 for our subscribers (who number over 1.4 million~), and are currently considering plans to increase our average wage (from ~10 to ~13 an hour) and reducing the price per issue to ~3.15 (and ~1.7 for our subscribers).

This industry is booming, and someday, Cyberia will be known world-wide as the largest producer of news anaylsis, commentary, and non-partisan reporting. We applaud the efforts of Cyberians to improve the industry, and we look forward to continuing our service to every Cyberian!
