Poetry by Sienna V
Some of you will identify with the illness in the song 'Haze'
'City Life' song reflects the reality of a girl living alone.

He is wasting away in his haze of unhappy fantasy Passing the hours Not knowing that they're gone. He keeps yearning for a past He wishes could have been Forgetting all the love he's had Remembering only sin.
He used to be an okay guy With lots of caring friends His brains and brawn Were drawing cards His wit seemed not to end But slowly he's been losing it And all who know him see The person they once knew before Has long since ceased to be. He stays inside He rarely leaves Not answering door or phone He drinks, he smokes He thinks too much It's sad he's so alone Some see him as mean I see him hurt Tumbling faster down life's hill Nothing helps It will not change And yet, we worry still
And he is Wasting away in his haze of unhappy fantasy Passing the hours Not knowing that they're gone He keeps yearning for a past He wishes could have been Ignoring all the love he's got Remembering only sin.

I'm just a warm hearted country girl In a cold hearted city life. Up at six, get to work by eight, Back on the road at five. Shower, change, later a date, Lucky to still be alive. I'm just a warm hearted country girl In a cold hearted city life.
Always lock the door, have money for a cab, Keep an eye out all around. Home again when the phone rings late. It's probably the whispering clown. Who could it be, there hasn't been a clue The same thing every time. Some lonely sap trying to get some kicks A married guy without a dime.
I'm just a warm hearted country girl In a cold hearted city life. 3 AM the door bell rings I wonder who it is. "Your friendly neighbourhood garbage man," Is who he says he is.
I hope the locks hold on the door If this guy is a beast. Please not another with the dream To get between my sheets.
I'm just a warm hearted country girl In a cold hearted city life. The rumour mill, no matter what, They say what they think thrills. The truth is of no consequence Damn! It gives me chills.
I'm just a warm hearted country girl In a cold hearted city life.
