Question- Are you guys the real Ash, Misty, and Brock?
Answer by Brock- First is a subject that I think I should address, since some people seem a little confused. We are NOT the real Ash, Misty, and Brock. We are real people. We don't REALLY act like them, either. Every so often, in the chat rooms, we assume their behavior for the purpose of entertainment, but we don't really act that way in real life. We are not cartoon characters. It is also for this reason that you cannot have our autographs. (Yes, that has been asked.)

Question- Why do you guys hate Brock?
Answer by Brock- Some people seem to think that we hate Brock. We never said we hate Brock. Sure, we make fun of him, but if you visit the chat rooms you see that we make fun of Ash and Misty, too. The AAML staff assumes the personalities of the anime characters and we make fun of each other, but in
real life we're really good friends, and we have known each other for many years. So we don't
hate Brock in any aspect. BROCK IS DA BOMB MAN! Betta dan Kenji!

Question- How come Brock doesn't get the respect he really deserves?
Answer by Brock- Many people wonder why Brock doesn't get the respect he deserves. Well, the page is called "Ash and Misty's Love," meaning it is pretty much devoted to Ash and Misty. 'Nuff said.

Question- Does Brock have eyes?
Answer by Brock- Many people (including the AAML staff) wonder about Brock's eyes. So I am going to put forth a few theories:

• His eyes are light sensitive and he must squint to block the glare of the sun and all other sources of light.
• He left them back at the Pewter City Gym when he was once Gym Leader.

Question- The images that said made by Misty_AAML, were those made by you?
Answer by Misty- I don't know why I get this question... I seem to get it a lot. Notice, it says made by Misty_AAML and that is me. So yeah, it is made by me.

Question- Can I link to AAML?
Answer by Misty- Of course you can! That's why we have those nice little banners (I made ^^) for yall to link us with. We'd be more then happy if you'd link to us ^_^.

Answer by Ash-That's not a question but I get this a lot so I thought I should make a statement. Yes I know those are their "English" version ages.  Whether or not it's the same in Japanese is yet to be found out. In the manga they are 10 and 12 (Japanese version had been rechecked) But still I seriously don't know any boy at age 10 that acts like Ash. I can speak from experience. Heck, Ash reminds me of Misty_AAML...and for the record she's 14! They don't act their ages one bit. If that's not the worst piece of crock, they say on the Pokémon.com web site that Team Rocket's ages are 12. HELLO! They don't sound, act, or LOOK 12! Not on any level! As for the last names...I can see why people think its WaterFlower because of that one episode. But notice it said "Water Flowers," not "WaterFlowers."  If it were a last name it would be together...but on the episode title they were two separate words. All I can say is that it was used to be as some sort of metaphor. We'll never know her English last name but we at aaml have found out her last name in the Japanese version. It's Yawa. Her full name being Kasumi Yawa. Her full name was revealed in the 3rd Pokémon movie (Check gallery for more details). Now for Brock's last name...I won't comment. They never mention their last names on the show and never have on the manga for that matter either. (Excluding Ash's own last name) I have all the mangas so I would know.

Question- When is the next update gonna be?
Answer by Ash-Don't know...but a good way to be kept updated is by joining the listbot on the MAIN PAGE! Whenever I feel like sending out a listbot, you'll be kept updated on what's going on here at AAML. Plus, it'll let you know the DAY the page has been updated. So don't worry about it. The reason why we hardly update now is because of school, life...etc. Anyone can understand that right?

Question- Do you love Misty?
Answer by Ash-Ok, I get this a lot. (Misty does too) And I have to clear something up right now. If you're talking about me in real LIFE, then yes. If you're talking about the show YES THEY DO. But I'm not Anime Ash, I'm living Ash...not anime Ash. Repeat after me...Not ANIME ASH! Heh, ok does that make sense? Good, I'm glad you're smart! (I hope) And NO this site was not made because of my real life love...it was based on the cute relationship that happens in the anime. That's the sole purpose of why it was made.

Question-What the heck does "Wa" mean????
Answer by Brock-Your guess is as good as ours. Here are some theories I have come up with:
1) Ash feels that by leaving home at such a young age, he was deprived of his childhood. By
making sounds like a baby, he is reliving the childhood he never had.
2) He is getting in touch with his inner child, due to the fact that he was forced to grow up so
quickly.
3) It is a word used to express many emotions, and he is trying to become more in tune with his
Pokémon by using a single word or sound to convey his thoughts. He believes that the only way to
truly understand your Pokémon is to *become* your Pokémon.
4) He's watched many Jackie Chan movies. That is a sound Chan makes frequently in many of his
earlier films.

Answer by Brock: Kenji is Brock's replacement on the show. Brock decides to stay on Orange Island (I think) to be a Pokémon breeder, and Kenji joins Ash and Misty sometime after that. We at AAML don't like him because he replaces Brock, whom we will forever remain loyal to.

Answer by Brock: That's not the kind of thing I keep track of or know offhand. Pokémon trivia is not my strong point. If this were a site devoted to Brock, we'd know the answer to this question. However,
this is a site devoted to Ash and Misty, for the most part. In any case, my guess is about once
an episode.

Question- Has Misty ever kissed you?
Answer by Brock: Me? Meaning the real me, Alex, or Brock from the anime? I guess I'll take it both ways. No, Misty has never kissed me in real life, and as far as I know, the anime-Misty has never kissed
the anime-Brock. So, overall, the answer is no, Misty has never kissed Brock.

Question- Now that Brock is out of the show are you going to resume the role of Kenji?

Answer by Brock: God, I hope so. He'd be a really ugly girl.

Answer by Ash: As for Misty and I's fic, new parts are on every update that's sent out through the lisbot. There's no SPECIFIC date that we have them ready. So please STOP ASKING US THIS! As for other author's fics...contact the individual author of the fic that you like and e-mail them about it.

Answer by Brock: Um, this question is highly strange and vaguely insulting, but I guess I'll answer it anyway. Yes, I do like girls. I'm a 17 year old boy, after all. (To avoid being controversial, let me

Answer by Brock: We've known each other IRL for a very long time, and that my parents are friends with Kathryn's parents, and since Kathryn lives near John we met. Also, my relatives live near them.

Answer by Brock: This is a question the AAML staff has been mulling over for about a year now. We have come to one conclusion:

Magic.

What else could it be? They wear the same clothes everyday, and they never shower, so one would think they'd smell pretty bad, but that's not so! If they did, other people in the anime would say something about it and they never do. Also, they're always walking around in the woods or playing in dirt, but they're never dirty! What other explanation is there besides magic?

Now what I want to know is where do they keep their sleeping bags!!!

Answer by Brock: Because she has a very volatile personality and she's also very violent, in case you haven't noticed. It's just the way she is.

Question-Why does Ash/Satoshi act so dumb?
Answer by Ash: Because that's how the writers of the show made him. There's no other good explanation than that he's a confused boy like most his own age.

Question- Can you send me updates about the site to my e-mail?
Answer by Ash: The only way you can get updates is by signing up for the listbot which is on the main page. And if you're asking me to change your e-mail on the listbot cuz you have a new one, I can't do that. You're supposed to unsubscribe yourself, then resign up under the new e-mail you have. There are WAY Too many people on the listbot for me to do that for every single one of you. (As of August 11, 2000 we have over 834 people on the listbot)

Answer by Brock: Ash_AAML, with help from Misty_AAML, has the capability to take screen shots (Video Capture card drive) of the episodes he has on tape. We get all of those pictures ourself so DON'T TAKE THEM!

Question- I heard that Misty might leave the group(!!!). Is this true?
Answer by Brock: Well, I've heard a few rumors about this, but nothing has been confirmed. We
can only hope that it is not true.
Answer by Ash: It better not be true....then what would become of AAML? I doubt it because Misty doesn't seem like the type to up and leave right away.

Question- Where did the Veronica Taylor sound files go? Why did you guys take them
down?
Answer by Brock: We have taken them down due to potential legal complications that could have
possibly arisen in the future. We were unaware of this when we first made available the files, but now, in order to prevent problems in the future, we have taken them down. We're very sorry, but this had to be done. As we've said before, don't put the sound files up on your own sites, and please refrain from distributing them among your friends. Simply hold onto them for your own enjoyment and be glad that you were able to get them when you did. If you didn't get the chance to download the files, well... Sorry. This was a necessary course of action.

Question- Umm..if this is an Ash and Misty's Love site then why are you here?
Answer by Brock: Well, for one thing, on the show Brock is their friend, and it just wouldn't be right without
Brock! Also, in real life, I'm friends with Ash and Misty AAML, and it's much easier to have
three people working on the site than two people. I don't think you all realize how much work,
time, and effort we put into this darn page.

Question- Why do some people think Pokemon is bad?
Answer by Ash: Good question...well I can tell ya there might be a handful of reasons. For one, some people think it's bad because of that one episode that caused seizures in Japan, and the fact some babies have swallowed Pokémon toys gets on the negative side for parents.

But there were ways to prevent these from happening. If a child is prone to seizures, the parent should've known that from the beginning, and what parent in their right mind gives a toy to a kid that says "Not for babies:Hazardous?" If you ask me I think some people are just plain unaware. If people take the time to find out what it's really about...they'd realize it's not that bad as it seems...otherwise we wouldn't have this site. :-)

Answer by Ash: LOL! Good question! Makes me believe he isn't that old as the English version perceives him. @_@ But then again he isn't the one driving...that one girl is always the one driving the car...but it seems to me he lost his car in the new season. @_@ Guess the girls left him for a better man LOL.

Question- When will Brock get a girl???
Answer by Brock: Hmmm, as of yet, the answer to this question is still unknown. My guess would be this: Brock
will get a girl once he realizes that there are other women out there besides Jenny and Joy, and
once he stops acting so desperate and calms down a little bit.

Question- Why do some of the fanfics load up half-way?
Answer by Ash: This is only a problem for AOL users. If you're an aol user minimize your aol browser and open either netscape or internet explorer to view the fanfics. If there is still a problem press reload a couple a times. If that doesn't work, empty your internet cache folder so that way it loads up new. There's nothing more I can do to fix the problem.

Question- If Jessie grew up being poor and having little to live by, why does she act so bratty and selfish?
Answer by Brock: It's BECAUSE she was so poor that she's selfish. She remembers what it's like not to have anything, so now she wants to have *everything* since she can make it possible. It makes perfect sense for her to be this way. That's why she's so money-hungry; she was never able to get it before, and now she's got a job.

Question- Why there are soooooo many Joys and Jennys in the cartoon? How on earth are there so many people that look alike in a family?
Answer by Brock: Well, here's my theory:
Someone - probably a professor with the name of plant as their surname - decided to handle to problem of not enough manpower on the police force. So this professor created the perfect cop and just cloned her (interesting that it happened to be a woman in a miniskirt) a bunch of times before distributing her around the Pokémon World. Same with Nurse Joy. I guarantee there's a factory somewhere that manufactures Jennys and Joys.

Question- If Jesse is poor then how did she get to Pokemon Tech?
Answer by Brock: I dunno, maybe she did so well at her Nurse school (that was for Chanseys) that they accepted her on merit with a scholarship or something. That's actually a very good question.

Question- Brock, in the Johto series, you seem to like the girls there and you go really crazy. Why?
Answer by Brock: Um...cuz girls are cool! But if you think about it, Brock *always* likes girls and goes really crazy over them (even weird looking girls like Nurse Joy), so the Johto Series isn't any different in that respect.

Answer by Brock: Well, think about it. Brock left them for a while to live with Professor Ivy, and they didn't starve, now did they? So if Brock ever DID manage to find someone willing to marry him, and he actually went through with it, I think they'd be okay in terms of food.

Answer by Brock: Feel free to print them and put them on your wall or TV or bathroom mirror, or wherever you want to put them, provided you are NOT putting them on other websites. So don't go rescanning them or something weird like that and putting it on another website.
