This writing deals with Gods calling, Discipleship
(Teaching), and Apostleship ( Appointed Messenger), and Manifested Sons to come forth at the end of this age.
If we examine the scriptures
very closely we see that God had a plan for His creation that the Called to FOLLOW Him were to fulfill.
The following scriptures are just some of many examples
in the Word.
Matthew 4:19 And He saith unto them, FOLLOW
me, and I will make you fishers of men. 20, And they straightway left their nets, and FOLLOWED Him. 21, And
going on from thence, He saw other two brethren, James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, in a ship with Zebedee their
father, mending their nets; and He called them. 22, And they immediately left the ship and their father, and FOLLOWED
Him.
Matthew 9:9, ¶And as Jesus passed forth from thence,
He saw a man, named Matthew, sitting at the receipt of custom: and He said to him, FOLLOW me. And he arose, and FOLLOWED
Him.
What! They just dropped their nets and jumped
out of the boat to follow Jesus, and Matthew left his table of money he had collected from taxes. I dont think they actually
knew Him personally, thou Jesus fame went to the whole region. A stranger says FOLLOW ME and they immediately respond.
This tells me that they were Predestinated by God before they were born to become Disciples (students) of Jesus Christ
to learn about the Kingdom of God and to do the work of spreading the Good News to the World as Apostles (messengers).
Matthew 4:25, And there FOLLOWED
Him great multitudes of people from Galilee, and from Decapolis, and from Jerusalem, and from Judaea, and from beyond Jordan.
Matthew 5:1, ¶And
seeing the multitudes, He went up into a mountain: and when He was set, his disciples came unto him:
2 And He opened his mouth, and taught them
Many followed Jesus as
stated in Matthew 4:25. But, only the disciples FOLLOWED HIM after
He finished teaching and feeding the multitudes on the mount because the disciples were not just followers, but CALLED
or Predestinated.
John 6:65, And He said, Therefore said I
unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.
66, From
that time many of His disciples went back, and walked no more with Him (because they were not given to Him by His Father).
67,
Then said Jesus unto the twelve, will ye
also
go away?
68 Then Simon Peter
answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of Eternal Life.
69 And we
believe and are sure that Thou art that Christ, the Son of the Living God.
Romans 8:30 Moreover whom
He did Predestinate, them He also called: and whom He called, them He also justified: and whom
He justified, them He also glorified.
Romans 8:14 For as many as
are led by the Spirit of God, they are the Sons of God.
15 For ye have not received
the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our
spirit, that we are the children of God:
17 ¶And if children, then heirs; heirs of God,
and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with Him, that we may be also glorified together.
18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present
time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
19 For the earnest expectation
of the creature waiteth for the Manifestation of the Sons of God.
Philippians 2:15 That ye
may be blameless and harmless, the Sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom
ye shine as lights in the world;
Hebrews 2:10 ¶For it became Him, for whom are
all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many Sons unto glory, to make the Captain of their salvation perfect
through sufferings.
Hebrews 12:7 If ye endure
chastening, God dealeth with you as Sons; for what Son is he whom the father
chasteneth not?
1 John 3:1 ¶Behold, what
manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the Sons of God: therefore the world knoweth
us not, because it knew Him not.
2 Beloved, now are we the Sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when He
shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as he is.
3 And every man that hath this hope in Him purifieth himself, even as He is pure.
