forhead was the place an evil wizard, Voldemort, had tried to kill him. Harry
gets whisked off to magical boarding school called Hogwarts.
Once he arrives at school, he and his friend Ron Weasley discover a plot to
steal something hidden from the school. They don't know who is doing the
stealing, or what they are planning to take. While trying to figure things out,
they meet a new friend, Hermione Granger.

I personally thought that this book was fabulous, for it was the book that got
me hooked on the Harry Potter series. To tell the truth, I found this book much
better than Lord of the Rings, for the work Rowling describes seems almost real
- in other words, it's believable. Definitely a good read
