YOUTH GROUP NEWS
Need something
fun to do for the whole family? Tired of the same old Saturday night routine? Make plans
to spend Saturday, March 9 at the Youth Group Mystery Dinner organized by the 2002
Pilgrims. The party gets started at 6 PM at St. Pauls. Expect a deviation from the
usual dinner. The entire evening is a surprise. The money from the dinner will go toward
the 2002 pilgrimage to England, so come show your support.
Tickets will be sold after Sunday services on
both February 24 and March 3. Come to church prepared to purchase your tickets. Advanced
tickets will cost $6 per person, $2 for children between the ages of 3-7, and free for
children 2 and under. The dinner is open to everyone so bring your friends. We guarantee
it will be a good time. Tickets purchased at the door will be $7.
For those of you who are vegetarians, we are
offering vegetarian alternatives for the entree. Dont feel obligated to dress up,
because the dress for the evening will be casual and comfortable. Hope to see you there.

We will be
gathering at the YMCA on Hollywood Road on Saturday, March 16 for some gym and swim time.
We have reserved gym time beginning at 12:30 PM. We would like to gather in the lobby
between 12:15 and 12:30. We will have one hour gym time and 1 hour of swim time, plus a
snack. Plan to be picked up at 3:30 PM in the lobby. If you do not wish to swim you can
watch from the bleachers. Brooke might also be able to arrange some extra gym activities
instead. We are still waiting to hear on that. You can also arrange to be picked up
earlier if you wish. The cost per person is $5, permission slips are required as are
swimsuits for those going into the pool. Friends are welcome but MUST be signed up and
provided with a permission slip, (found on the March Update).
FUND RAISING:
We will be selling tickets for the Mystery
Dinner after both services on February 24 and March 3. Everyone is needed for selling. All
are expected to attend the preparation time on Saturday, March 9 from 1-3 PM on the lower
level and the dinner that evening. You will need to be at church by 5:00 PM in order to
finish up last minute jobs and eat your dinner. We ask parents to cover the cost of your
meal that night if you are eating with us.
