Hello!
I always welcome e-mail from (former, current, and future) Austin
America owners, since so very few of us remain, and that's the focus of this website. I also enjoy hearing from other
1100/1300 owners, both past and present. Your support, stories and photos are an important part of this site!
If you are a current owner, I invite and encourage you
to sign up for the Austin America Register. You'll be very pleased with the membership package. It's important
for us to join together in an effort to keep the remaining cars on the road. I also invite you to join
our Original 1100 e-mail list that was first started in 1999 by my friend Michael
Carnell on his great MG1100 Sedan website. With
approximately 90 members, we have quite a large extended
family of 1100/1300 owners and enthusiasts from all over the world and nearly every model is represented. Let's keep improving
the support and make sure these unique cars, whatever their marque, are alive and well for future generations
to enjoy!
If you haven't done so already, consider joining the UK
based "1100 Club" at: http://www.the1100club.com/ With worldwide membership and a great full color magazine, the "Idle Chatter," it's one of the finest clubs
around...and the it's only club dedicated to our cars.
I'd really like to hear from you, so if you love these great
cars, have feedback on the site, need help finding a car or parts, have a technical question, or want
to contribute something of your own, drop me a line.
I always post any useful information I receive and
will gladly give you credit.
Kate and I would like to say thanks for taking the time
to have a look at our site. It will continue to change often, so please stop by again.
Warm Regards,
Todd & Kate(a future Austin America owner)

A little bit about the website owner/author:
Todd Miller grew up in Arcata, California and graduated from Arcata High School, Class of 1981, where he ran Cross-Country,
and Track, and Wrestled, lettering 2 years in all 3 sports. He attended College of the Redwoods, where he ran Cross-Country
for 2 years, and earned an AA degree in Architecture in 1983. In 1985 he moved to San Luis Obispo, California after being
accepted to the School of Architecture at California Polytechnic State University (aka: Cal Poly), and Graduated in 1990 with
a Bachelor of Architecture Degree. He remains in San Luis Obispo, and has a daughter, who will graduate from San Luis Obispo
High School in 2017. Todd still loves to run long distance, and has been coaching and training alongside Kate, throughout
her high school Cross-Country, and Track career. In August 2015, on his 52nd birthday, and Kate's 16th birthday, they ran
from the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, to the South Rim, in one day, and repeated that in August 2016. Todd survived a very
serious bought of Cancer in 2014, and the runs across the Grand Canyon are a victory celebration.
A Few Notes about contacting me:
Due to the huge amount of time I spend answering questions,
I no longer offer free technical advice. If you want my help and haven't found a solution to your problem
on the free pages of this website, or in your Haynes or BMC service manual, I will gladly assist you for $25 per mechanical
problem.
Classified ads for cars are a one time charge of $20 to post an ad selling a car.
I respond to all emails the same day they are received.
So if you don't hear back from me within 24hours, it's probably because there's a problem with your email account.
Please make sure the return address is correct, that
your account isn't full, or, if at work, you're able to receive incoming mail.
Please include a subject line so I don't delete your message
as spam.
