What is Power?...

As most of you would know, Power affects everyone's life in many different ways. There can be good power, and then there is also the danger and abuse that power protrays in today's society. Today, I will do my best to focus on the danger and abuse that power has on people in our society, and I will back up my comments by using a number of different sources which show power.

When thinking about people whom I considered to be powerful, I came up with the following:

Nelson Mandella
George.W.Bush
John.F.Kennady
Princess Diana
Mother Teresa
Police
Teachers
Parents
Oprah
Bill Gates and...
Osam Bin Laden

As you can tell, most of these people demonstrate good power and did the best they could do for other people.

When thinking about what these people have in common, I came up with.......

* They are all follwed by large and famous people, they all share wealth, and exposure to the public.

* All of these people are popular but in different levels.

* Mother Teresa and Princess Diana are popular in most countries around the world, where as Osam Bin Laden is disliked in most countries because he abused his use of power.

* All of the above people have authority and expect what they ask to be done.

* Power comes with position not just necesarily personality.
