You know you're different...you don't want the slack, fat, anti-age, flawless-skin, clap-trap bullshit. You know what i'm talking about. You see it, read about it, get overwhelmed by it everyday. Nobody wants to grow old and life just keeps getting shorter. Well get over it girl, wake up to yourself, dont just sit there, make a statement. Be who you want to be, not what those junk mag big blonde bimbo's say is the "n" thing. There's no such thing as fashion, it was only there a split second before everyone was wearing it, drinking it, eating it, driving in it, or having sex with it. So why bother. Make up your own style, statment, look whatever you want to call it for christ sake dont call it fashion. We call F2 "Fudge for your face and you'll love it because....we're different! | |
The above saying was taken from the back page of a brochure that was advertising "fudge" products. When I first read it, I had a bit of a laugh, but after re reading it, I realised that this document infront of me was describing Power in todays society.
What this article is say, is very true. It explains our society in a 'fun', easy going way.
This article explains to us how much power society has on the way we live. For example the line saying " it was only there a split second before everyone was wearing it, drinking it, eating it, driving in it, or having sex with it ".
When a new fashon, hair style, food etc comes out onto the market, everyone wants to have it, so they all fit in. This is a completely different form of power as opposed to the other things I have spoken about today. But it does help us, by giving us a understanding as to the different types of power that affect our society.
